[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

In simplest terms po ay yung system unit as a whole at di kasama yung monitor and peripherals.

kahit anong Case pwede kong gamitin sir ?? pwede ba toh ?? 4k nga lang .. Cooler Master 692 Advanced Clear wala syang kasamang psu sir or ito ?? Cooler Master (RC-P100-KKN2) USP 100

BTW..tningnan ko sa site ng G.skill yung ram sir ..mukhang di kompatble sa Mobo sir ??

Lagpas 22k including AOC Monitor 18.5 LED P3800 tska UPS na P1300. Hindi nga pla ako bumili ng ODD.

Ok lang naman nasa sayo na yun. Pero kung ako lang, yung sobrang pera ay idagdag ko nalang sa ibang parts at kumuha ng mumurahin na casing.

Sa RAM naman, compatible parin yan then mag downclock lang. Yung presyo kasi ng 1333 at 1600 ay halos parehas lang kaya mas ok na yun tska if ever mag upgrade ka in the future supported agad ang ganun speed.

Ok, thanks sir. Sayang nga lng wala kasi silang Sapphire Hd 6670, tska d ko nmn kaya yung 7750 kaya yung palit nlng kinuha ko. Nagamit ko siya gaming ayus naman siya.

Uhm sir tanong lng if mag upgrade ako ng proc at gpu makakaya pa kaya ng psu yan? hanggang intel I5 lng ba ang kaya ng mobo na yn?

Based nalang sa ibang models ng HEC Cougar ay matino naman. Kakayanin kahit anong GPU as long as single GPU setup. Kahit i7 ay ok parin.

GPU talaga ang malakas kumain sa power consumption. Di ka naman siguro mag GTX 680 at HD 7970 di ba? Hehe.

balak ko lang mag-upgrade.. (coming from amd x2,ddr2 memory,asus board, palit 250gts)
brand new cpu amd preferred.. or tingin nyo ok pa yung current pc?

for:
browsing the web,
watching movies and tv files downloaded using 32in lcd tv
listening to music files
basic gaming e.g. Call of duty MW3(kahit normal settings/resolution lang ok na)

(meron na 1tb harddrive, video card Palit 250 gts, lcd samsung , winpower 550watts power supply from other old pc)

anu ma suggest nyo? around 20k budget.
preferred ko sana amd processor, and asus board na may at least 4 sata ports

Yup. Sandy Bridge na i7 tapos update mo lang yung bios para pati yung i7 na Ivy Brdige.

Ok pa ba sayo yung GTS 250 so far? Kung di ka pa naman nabibitin mukang CPU, MOBO, RAM, & PSU for that 20k. Mukang generic yung PSU so sama mo narin.

more on browsing, watching movies, less on gaming(cod modern warfare 3 basic settings)

ok pa naman sakin gts 250 palit.

anu magandang amd processor and board combination?
2gig memory ok na or 4 gig?
