Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

ah nga pala ano po kaya neto? like kaea ba to gaming na matinde + mga video editing (sony vegas, after effects)

usage: Mid-level gaming
(Dota 2, Skyrim, Just Cause 2, Source engine games all on Med-High settings)

other miscellaneous requirements:
parts preferably coming from http://www.tipidpc.com/useritems.php?username=PCHub or similar stores.

So i've saved 10k over 1 1/2 years (Only a junior HS :P ) and I'm looking to add to that amount during Christmas and my birthday. I've had this idea in the back of my head for a while now. Anyways I will be needing it for college also in a year.

Boss ganda ng processor na yan.. The best yan lalo na pagdating sa gaming. Pero kung mag vivideo editing kayo, kailangan nyo po ng discreet video card.

Ang kulang na lng dyan eh, video card (kahit 7750 o 7770 lang) tapos ung MoBo po, okay naman xa, pero mas maganda sana kung mkakaupgrade kayo kahit P67 lang na MOBO.

Dapat po atleast 4gb ang RAM nyo, lalo na't malakas kumain ng memory ang sony vegas at after effects. and don't forget, ung PSU nyo po kailangan True Rated (lalo na kung maguupgrade kayo ng Video Card) yang 600w kasi na built in sa casing eh generic lang yan, kayo din, bka masira buong unit nyo pag nag surge yan.. Mapiprito PC mo :P

Sir, sa budget nyo pong 7k, Low-End lang po ang makakaya nyan.

sa 7k, Mobo+Procie lang po kasya jan :P

tnx po :3 gusto ko lang din malaman about diyan sa parts kc yan kasi baka di sulit sa presyo. plano ko bilhin package n siya na 20k. la nga lang talaga video card.

Mga masters pahingi po ng build nasa 15-18k po budget, going for intel setup kasi medyo naguluhan na ako sa AMD, prefer ko po sana corei3 na CPU at either po sa HD7750 1gb ddr5 or HD6670 2gb ddr3 na VC, ano po masuggest nyo na combination,,more on online gaming po like Dragon Nest, Diablo 3 and Blade & Soul, pati multitasking din po..

pa set up naman cpu 15-20k pero hanggat maari sir mura lang ang sosobra dyan pandagdag ko sa iphone nilalaro ko lang kasi dota2 and heroes of newerth lang tapos wala na,monitor ko pala 23 inches sya

sup paps .. pa advice nmn ulit ng video card., ung last time kc . imblis n bumili ako ng VC.
pag uwi ko dala ko n 24 inch n monitor hahahahha

medjo mas mababa n ung budget ko 4~6k lng.
ung pde sa 500w HEC na powersupply.,

GTs 250 pa rin ,
gusto ko lng malaro ung ibang latest n FPS in mid to high settings
4gb ram ddr3 / atlon ii x4 620 (OC'ed to 2.9 ghz)
salamats.. xD

:) ... Sir kasi gaming and programming ang use ng PC mo , I suggest kuha ka ng RAM 2x2GB 1600 MHz at video card na AMD Radeon HD 6670 1 GB DDR5 or AMD Radeon HD 6790 1GB DDR5 or AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB DDR5 at yong PSU mo dapat at least 500 watts true rated... :dance:

Kakayanin po ang 15-20k kung entry-level o mid-end CPU lang..

Nvidia po ba or ATI?

Kung ATI po eto: http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=20682026 -> Power Color HD 7770 1gb/128bit ddr5 PCS+ Vortex 2 (OC Ed) - PHP 5780.00 Factory OC'ed na po yan, maganda din ung Vortex 2 kasi adjustable ung GPU fan.

o eto http://www.tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=15285991 -> Asus HD 7770 DirectCU 1gb/128bit - PHP 6190.00 lagpas lang ng 100pesos sa budget nyo pero worth it, kasi ASUS po brand nyan.

Kung Nvidia naman eto:
Asus GTX 650 DirectCU II 1gb/128bit ddr5 - PHP 6300.00 -> Maganda to kasi super quiet ng fan. Pero mas okay sana kung 650 Ti ang mabibili nyo, mejo mas mahal lang ng abour 600-900 pesos, pero ang laki ng improvement sa performance.
