[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

ano po kakayanin ng budget ko na 1,500 pang tapat sa na sirang vc. pro kng kakayanin ng 1k mas maganda. subrang walang budget kc. heheheh

Ok naman kung 18k. Alamin mo lang yung mga bagay sa warranty tulad ng:

1) Store warranty
2) Manufacturer warranty
3) Receipt
4) Box
5) Accessories

Pag meron ka nyan good to go ka na at kung may mangyari man wala ka na habol sa kanya.

As for gaming performance, ok naman siguro yan paired with the monitor pero GT 630 is not really a 'gaming' video card.



Kung generic PSU mo then unahin mo yun bago video card.

ano kaya sa 1,500 na budget sir pra sa pang palit sa nasirang VC. kng kayanin ng 1k lang mas maganda po.

msi r5450 1gb ddr3 64 bit...

sa ganyan pong budget ito na po yung pinaka maganda na brand new

mainly for browsing and gaming. ma future proof lng sa mga upcoming games..budget for CPU 15-20k..kahit low to mid res ung game..kahit sa pcguilmore ako bumili

IDEALLY eto lng gusto ko na build..but not so familiar with the items pa ha

Motherboard: intel board dual channel na mobo..kung may murang quad mas ok

RAM:4/8Gb ddr3 patriot sana

Video Card: at least 1GB

Hard Drive: 2TB

Optical Drive: KAHIT ANO BASTA burner ng dvd

Power Supplyahit stock muna pero kung di kaya ng board upto 2k ang budget ko d2

Casing: simple lng kahit ung tag 700 lang ok na

monitor: sa TV ko muna ikakabit.. may HDMI pero planning to buy ung samsung 19''

Accessories: i have my keyboard,mouse,printer & webcam

mga sir ano ma recommend nyo na computer cases na nasa 2k ang budget at pa link na din po kung ano itsura niya? salamat po.

Raidmax series http://raidmax.com/chassis.html bago lang ito pero makulay siya na less than 2k pero maporma at maganda yung loob same ng cooler master k series na mura tulad ng k350 http://www2.dma.net.au/index.php?action=displayProduct&pid=8615

usage: Ang primary objective ko is mapagana po ung autocad 2013 ng smooth.

Optical Drive: kahit anu basta nakakapag burn ng DVD and CD.

Di kaya ang 15k budget kung monitor kasama pa. Pilitin mo man, wag ka lang mag expect na malaro mo lahat ng titles ngayon.

usage lang po ang pwede ko masabi or pwede na ding kung anu ginagawa ko sa PC i like high resu playing online games watching movies and anime also i store almost all of my movies and anime i have already back up my anime's and movies to other HDD all over 1tb and all of my movies are 1080P blueray rips i also like playing musics fullHD

Sirs, parecommend naman kung meron pa iuupgrade itong lumang set up ko or mas mabuting hayaan nalang, gumagana pa sya eh plano ko iupgrade sayang naman, pero may existing na ako bagong assemble. gamitin ko sana pang games (low end) at browsing lang
