[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

- Seasonic is the best PSU OEM paps. As long as isang graphics card lang ilalagay mo then yung suggestion dyan na 520W variant PSU is more than enough. By the time na maisipan mo mag XFire/SLI you will change your mobo or move to a new platform na.

Build 1
- Six cores, mas ok in the long run kasi the trend in the future is games are gonna use more than 4 cores.
- Mas suited for applications na multi-threaded.

Build 2
- Better performer sa gaming overall compared sa FX-6300 kahit 4 cores lang
- Better sa single threaded apps

Gusto ko lng makasiguro sir kc wala kami aircon kaya mejo malakas na fan ilagay ko baka need ko mas mataas na psu.

Isang graphics card lng gagamitin ko sir di po kc ako familiar sa crossfire/sli.

Regards sa platform di ko din masyado gets un pero i will be using windows7.

Plan ko po sana mag upgrade ng Video Card yung- Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GT640 2G OC - N640OC-2GI. Yun lang po kase alam ko na pang DDR3 so i think dun nalang ako. Gusto ko po sana mag build for gaming tas for software apps narin Photoshop/etc2.

Pa tulong naman kung may babaguhin pa po ba ako, pansin ko po kasi medyo lag etong desktop ko pag nag lalaro ako nung mga games like Darksiders 2, Mortal Kombat:Komplete Edition, Call of Duty,Assassins Creed, Need for speed;the RUN, Prototype 2. Hindi ko po talaga ma figure-out kung ano problema bakit lag, sana po may ma suggest kayo. mga 20k po budget pero kung hindi naman po aabot ng 20k mas mabuti po, wla ako masyado alam sa mga ganito kase, salamat. =)

Just get whatever fits your taste and budget. Make sure may DVI port.

Kung may 20k ka then better move to a new system na. Magagamit pa ba hard drive, case, optical drive, at power supply nyan?

gigabyte 970a-ds3

wala kasi ako mahanap na gigabyte 970a-ud3. ung sana preferred ko for OC.

and ano po kaya magandang alternative for cm hyper 212 +/ evo kasi di ko siya mahanap. maliban sa ice blade pro 2
