Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Kung Witcher Sir ito yung System Requirements nang Witcher 3

Minimum System Requirements
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 940
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
RAM: 6GB
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
HDD Space: 40 GB
DirectX 11

Recommended System Requirements
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz or AMD AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770
RAM: 8GB
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1)
HDD Space: 40 GB
DirectX 11

http://www.geforce.com/games-applications/pc-games/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/system-requirements

Asus GTX 750 1GB DDR5
2x Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB DDR3-1866 (so bale 8GB)
Intel Core I7-3370 Socket 1155 3.4ghz 8m

Based on experience ito hehe.

GTX 660 = R7 265 > GTX 750 Ti = GTX 650 Ti Boost > GTX 650 Ti = GTX 750

Afaik, nvidia game title ang witcher 3. Asahan mo na di sya well optimized sa amd cards. So better pick nvidia cards dahil may exclusive graphical features.

proc: i3 3210
mobo: H61M-P31/W8
ram: 8gb galing sa main pc ko
the rest hanap hanap pa ko

as far as i know sir 2133mhz will work sa board mo but it will go down to 1600mhz as it is the board limits based sa specs, no harm in using 2133mhz or higher in case mag.upgrade ka ng mobo in the near future...as for the xmp po sir, it only works for intel processors which are unlocked.

edit:
i just rechecked your board specs and found this
DDR3 Memory DDR3 1066/1333/1600* (*DDR3-1600 MHz is only supported with Intel® Ivy Bridge processors)
(edited*)

ah ok sir thanks.. tama nga down to 1600 lang dahil yung lang supported

to minimize spending sir in future upgrades, i would suggest to go for better graphics card even if core i3 4160 yung processor mo (it still can handle good games)
coz if time comes wherein a game you really like is heavy on processor, ram and graphics card...then all you have to do is change processor and add/change ram
but all really depends on budget

magkano po ba budget mo sir? and para saan yung system? gaming (type of games)? photo editing? etc...
or you want a good gaming system wherein someday palitan mo nalang yung videocard mo to upgrade it

10k or less lng po. For mobo ram budget + kung kaya pa 1tb or ssd.

Dota po laro. tpos video editing like vegas and premiere tnx

bottleneck happens when you run an application or game wherein hindi ka satisfied sa results...maganda yung gtx 970 na card...so if you run something na cpu intensive game or application then bottleneck yung cpu mo...so it all depends sa applications or games mo...if you plan on upgrading someday...go intel or amd fx route.
no problem if bibilhin mo yung gtx 970 for your current processor/specs
ok din yung psu mo since may dalawang 6pin pcie connectors which gtx 970 needs

Fo the mean time, uunahin ko muna ung GPU[un kase pinakamahal na pwesa].
