Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

gettings around 33fps
specs:
i7 4790
Gigabyte H97 D3Hm mobo
8gb RAM 1866 but running only at 1600 - single stick, might improve if dual channel is used

witcher game installed on a HDD. SSD will only improve on loading time i guess :noidea:

tapos, sinubukan ko triple monitor eyefinity
nakakaduling amf  getting motion sickness
getting only around 17 - 22fps
kahit ibaba ko settings to medium, di umaabot ng 30fps

crysis 3 will be my next experiment. hopefully hindi nakakaduling :hyper:

nasubukan ko rin sa Dirt 3. Libre sa dati kong GPU. max settings and no hiccups :hyper:

MGa tol, im planning to build a gaming rig using skylake processor.

kylake build
cpu, Intel Core i5-6400 2.70-3.30GHz Skylake
mobo, MSI Z170M MORTAR 6TH GEN
ram, Gskill Ripjaws X 8GB 4gbx2 DDR3 1600 CL9
hdd, 1TB WDC Blue/ 120 SSD
gpu, INNO3D GTX 960 iChill Ultra Edition OC 2GB GDDR5
psu, FSP Raider 550w 80+ Silver
atx, NZXT Source 210 Mid Tower

Purpose for choosing skylake is for long term use (2-3 year)

Any help would be appreciated.

More power to you!

Nah, I just visited PC Express here in Bacoor and the price of Skylake is still expensive per se. We'll see if the prices will go down after a few months.

Still going to stick to that build you've given me though.

stock fx8350 + r7 360 2gb, high settings, 1080p gets high 30s to low 40s. did you turn on hairworks? that's nvidias tech.

- - - Updated - - -

if you want hairworks, try this. you should get better performance since you have better specs except the ram part.

Intel Core i5-4590 up to 3.70GHz (Quad Core) Haswell Refresh Processor ₱8,900.00
Asus B85M-G ₱3,400.00
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB ₱2,590.00
Gskill RipjawsX 8GB Dual 1600 CL9 (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL) ₱3,850.00
FSP Raider 550W 80Plus SILVER Power Supply ₱2,500.00

Sapphire R7-265 2GB GDDR5 256Bit ₱7,550.00
Sapphire R9-270X Dual X OC 2GB DDR5 Boost Full ₱8,750.00
Sapphire R9-280X Dual-X OC 3GB GDDR5 384bit ₱13,500.00
Zotac GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 256Bit (ZT-90101-10P) ₱15,500.00
