I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

rakk phantom x is cheap. just check if its compatible with your parts. theres another case that's being sold in tpc for 800 - 850 named ice beetle. no pictures from the page so I tried google. I like cube cases so...

nope... di masisira... minsan talaga kakapusin lang ng power draw sa wall outlet dahil sa taas ng load ng PC mo. or, kung during heavy load, biglang mamamatay PC mo at ayaw na magboot... just let it rest for a while then balik ulit. siguro kung itutuloy mo nga yang R9 290X, wag ka na mag-OC muna ng CPU. balik mo muna sa stock. about sa dual monitor, maybe, maybe not... pero kahit lipat ko ng wall outlet yung 2nd monitor, ayaw pa rin eh. epekto na rin siguro ng power fluctuations well, so far di pa nauulit at kung maulit man, siguradong magpapalit na ako ng PSU.
also, R9 390X has better performance sa 200 equivalent nya though marginally lang. ang malaking improvement nila ay power consumption at heat dissipation.

Kunin mo na yung 290x if mura benta sayo just make sure na wala syang defect kung di mo kakilala yung seller. Your psu can feed 290x and the rest of the components ng rig mo, kakaylanganin mo lang siguro ibalik sa stock clock yung cpu if you're feeding additional voltage sa oc mo. Rock stable naman ang seasonic brand eh

sad to say di ko nabili yung card talkshit kasi yung seller eh tsk tsk.. siguro wait ko na lang yung bagong ire-release na cards this year Pascal or Greenland which uses HBM (R.I.P. DDR5 at kung tama yung nabasa ko xD). ma-iistretch ko pa budget ko siguro up to 25k pero kung di kayanin siguro naman maka-cut price ng mga top tier cards baka makabili na ko GTX Titan or R9 295 2x nun sa ngayon pagtyagaan ko na lang muna onboard graphics ko wala pa naman Final Fantasy 7 remake sa pc eh yun lang naman inaabangan ko hehe

from a consumers perspective (although I cant afford this), it didn't fail. imagine if there was no hype of r9 fury x, 980ti wont be released. plus, the two cards aren't night and day in difference. better for the community.

ok na yan kesa naman sa gamit ko CRT pa haha.. balak ko muna mag 2nd hand kahit 18.5inch di ko pa kasi alam kung ano monitor ko 27 or 32 kung PLS or IPS panel, mag single monitor na lang ako para tipid space.. uu nga rekta HBM2 na nvidia antay na lang din sa mga benchmarks pag narelease na FF7 nun baka mapabili agad ako GPU hahaha

the jump in ipc has been out a long time now but was a theory. same what they did with hbm. this time however, they had keller so maybe its all true. there is one sure improvement though afaic. the stock cooler. which I think may mean more cost = expensive.

Would advise avr/power strip/ups dahil fluctuating ang pasok ng kuryente sa PH and voltage spikes may kill your components.
