Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

Hi guys, any recommendation about a cheap monitor with Freesync ( IPS or TN panel will do ) 5k to 7k will do. Thanks

mabigat mobo mo. either Z170 or H170 lang option mo dahil sa m.2. anyways, z170 na yung pinili ko since pwede mo OC yung G4400 pag yun gamit mong mobo. though kakailangan mo ng magandang CPU cooler which defeats the function of an affordable G4400 build :noidea:

Viewsonic 24 VX2457MH LED freesync - 8,220
LG 23 23MP68VQ LED IPS freesync frameless - 7,990

I want to play latest games (e.g. GTA V, NBA2K16, AC Syndicate, etc)
Medjo luma na rin set-up ko and I am planning to upgrade only the VGA, RAM and PSU.

Below po yung specs ng PC ko.

Processor: Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz

Motherboard: Intel Corporation DH61WW (LGA1155 CPU 1)

RAM: 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Plan: 1x or 2x 4GB 8GB Kingston Hyperx (I don't know which is better :noidea:)

Video Card: Acer V193HQL 1024MB NVIDIA GeForce 210
Plan: GeForce GTX 970 2gb or 4gb

Power Supply:

Budget po sana is 20k....

Thank you sir in advance...

brod, subukan mo research sa google yung mga tanong mo. it seems you have no idea on what you want to do.

suggestion ko is to go for 2nd hand parts if you only want to upgrade para sa setup mo. GTX 970 sells for around 9k, pero pwede mo gawing geforce 1060 3gb na brand new for 10k (starting price). try to look for 2nd hand i5 or i7 cpu (same 1155 socket). may nakita pa akong posting sa TPC for around +4k sa mga i5. sa RAM naman, kung makahanap ka ng murang 8gb stick mas masaya. mas mahal na ng ddr3 kesa sa ddr4 :slap:
psu, get at least a Seasonic S12II 520 (2,600)

---> thanks po sa advice sir.. :salute: hindi na po kasi ako nagbabasa about sa new computer world hehe.. last review ko ay nung bagong labas pa ung 3rd gen ng intel, kaya un ang na assemble ko na pc.. :thanks: :excited: salamat po sa pag tulong...

Seriously, slow mo dahil 4k? Masyadong mabilis ang kilos di makita ang effects unlike 4k? Your conclusions and presumptions are wrong and you need to do some research before burning your money based on those :noidea:
You can play 4k videos on a 1080p display pero it will be a waste dahil liliit lang yung 4k video mo to 1080.
Well, pera mo naman yan eh :noidea:

Budget :20-25k
Usage: photoshop and mostly gaming

Ps pa remove na po ng hdd and gpu kasi ill be using my 2tb hdd at gtx970 galing sa lumang unit

If okay sana ung pang matagalan ulet last 2012 pa kasi pc ko palitan ko sana inupgrade ko lng ibang parts btw ung gpu is galax gtx970 pa remove na rin po pala mouse and kb

If okay sana with ssd, 8-16gb ram.. Thanks in advance. Btw advisable po ba stick to win 7 baka kasi may bugs pa mga games if mag win 8 ako or win10 ? Tnx uli
