[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

ok naman. sila nga 1st successful store dun sa gilmore eh. i built my first rig from them around 2001 and me and my friends were buying parts from them since the late 90's
though i'm not sure kung nag-improve ang service nila. dati sakit sa ulo that was one of the reason why pc express became successful. they were on par with pcoptions prices and yet offer better service at that time. yung website nila parang di rin updated sa pricing. pero magaganda naman prices nila and very competitive kung nandun ka na sa store nila.

mga master, patulong naman... laptop na pde for gaming at kaya mag run ng GNS 3 (which is more ram daw), may mga nakita ko pacheck nmn kung maganda na or may mas better pa...

budget is 30-40k, hanggat pede sa range lang na yan... pero kung lalagpas ng konti, pde naman basta reasonable...

sa ngaun e2 nakita ko kaka basa...

Ok naman yang napili mo sir, latest Proc and GPU naman yung nakalagay. kung mahilig ka mag multitasking pwede mo naman siguro paupgrade yung ram into 8gb. although I'm not a fan of acer laptop, check other Laptops too.

I think HDD yun, clarify mo na lang sa selle kung interested ka . kung priority mo is gaming , mas ok nga kung 940mx yung gpu mo

Since 2007 ng una ako gumamit ng INTEL hanggang ngayon
kaya lang parang nagpaparamdam na yung Core i5 1st generation ko ng pamama alam

I plan sana na mag AMD since low budget langa kaya ko dahil may pamilya na ako.

Matagal ko ng narinig ang AMD mas ok sa Gaming

Ito tanong ko mga sir

Ano magiging epekto kung gamitin ang photoshop (basic lang naman), power director sa AMD?

Kung AMD, anong AMD sir ang ok (sensya po 1st timer sa AMD

ganda nyan boss... kaso ung resolution is 1366 x 768

may nakita ako i7 kaso 6th gen lang tapos 8gb na at resolution is 1920 x 1080.... 37k

gawin mo ng 16gb ram mo brad tutal mukhang afford mo naman. baka mas marami pa available vram sa system ram pag nagboot ka na hehe. besides, if you plan to play games like witcher3 and black ops3, they need more than 7gb of ram.

kung naapektuhan yan ng pagkasira ng psu mo, dapat patay yung mismong gpu kaya that's a different case...
ano ba model ng gpu mo? yung mga bagong generation kasi may mga fan profile na hindi umiikot hangga't di umaabot at a certain temperature eh.



gagana sya. kahit magkaiba nga frequency (i.e. 2133 & 2400, etc)... ang concern lang yung xmp profile... there are instances na hindi gumagana yung xmp profile kahit identical yung RAM mo pero separate kit. pero not all the time... it could also work... if you don't care what xmp does, then you should be good

sir thank you, mas naintndhan ko ngayon ahaha. salamat tlga. may xmp profile din ako last year. umalis kasi ako ng bansa kaya natigil ako. balik OC n nmn kasi ako nian bsta maupgrade ko pa system unit ko. balak ko din mag taas ng pSU.
