Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

kabylake ang G4560 sir, gagana ang windows 7 pero di fully supported, more or less no choice ka kundi mag windows 10.

Suggestions about price to performance na monitor?
Here's my setup

6700k i7 stock
Maximus viii hero
Gtx 760 jetstream to be upgraded to 1070
16 gb 2400 mhz mem gskill

Additional question
1. Over ba 1070 if dota 2 lang laro ko?
2. Currently own noctua nhd15 mas ok ba mag liquid cool ako at anong magandang brand?

windows 10:
  1. DirectX 12 support
  2. better internet security
  3. at mahirap install ang windows 7 sa kabylake. it can work pero sakit sa ulo ang pag-research kung paano
  4. better driver support

  1. yes. dota 2 is not a demanding game
  2. liquid cooling has pros and cons, better check that first. pero you have one of the best air coolers that rivals liquid coolers. I would suggest that you stick with that kasi less hassle ang maintenance

salamat sir themonyo

if over 1070 ano po best fit para sa unit ko? and sa monitor po

ayaw mo ng high end?

better stick with your GPU muna kasi ang mamahal ng mga GPU ngayon. kahit rx460 and rx560 can get you +60fps at max settings... kung medyo ibababa mo lang ng konti details, you can get a very stable frame rate.
1050ti should be more than enough...
pero kung paparesan mo ng budget friendly monitor, i would suggest na mag-AMD ka dahil sa freesync. Gsync monitors are really expensive (+20k).
dynaquest LG 23MP68VQ (7.7k)
meron din sa lazada Samsung Ls24F350F (7.3k)
pwede ka naman bumili nyang mga monitor na yan at ipares mo sa 1070 mo pero di mo lang mapapakinabangan yung freesync. but they're still excellent displays

Mga boss pa suggest.
1) Best SSD na 240GB for my 4k budget. Will be used for Windows 10, and install 1-2 games on it(I already have 1TB HDD). My Mobo is Gigabyte G1 Sniper b85 ddr3 LGA 1150.

2) Best GTX 1050ti for my 7.5k or Best GTX 1060 3gb for 11k or Best GTX 1060 6GB for 13k

3) Worth it ba na mag GTX 1060 nlng instead on 1050 ti? di nman ako msyado high end gamer, kahit MID settings lang sa 1080p 60FPS ok na ko, mga nilalaro ko are NBA2k, COD, Metal Gear, GTA, DOTA 2, Far Cry

Salamat po sa mga tutulong.

buying a10-7x in 2017 is just not worth it.

They are still Good for HEDT PCs[Much better if half of the Price]

Current Rig:
Proc: AMD FX8320 BE 3.5-3.8GHZ
HSF: M9a Cryorig
MB: Gigabyte 990FXA UD3 AM3+
RAM: 8gb dual ddr3 1600 G.Skill Ripjaw X 12800CL9
HDD: 1TB WDC CAVIAR BLUE
GPU: 3GB Powercolor HD7950 Boost State ddr5, 384bit PCIE
PSU: FSP 650W Raider Series 80+ Silver

Scenario: white horizontal line during boot, checkered patterns then blue screen pagpasok sa desktop. Tried booting in safemode, no display problem.

Okay lang ba mag switch from Radeon to Geforce?

May 6 pin ba yung GPU mo sir? May advantages ba yun?

you seem to have a decent PSU and a high end AMD mobo kaya mukhang wala namang problema... unless... sira yung PCIE slot na kinalalagyan ng video card mo... :noidea:

May 6 pin ba yung GPU mo sir? May advantages ba yun?
kung may 6 pin na power cable ang GPU mo, ibig sabihin ang power requirement nya to run the GPU ay hindi kaya supplyan ng motherboard's PCIE slot which is up to 75w.

battlefield 1, gusto ko mga first person shooting games e :yipee::yipee:
mataas requirements ng battlefield 1 :sigh:
pero pogi ng graphics  :yipee:

looks good  pero if you can afford RAM that has higher frequency, much better
mas maganda ang 2x4gb kasi mapapakinabangan mo ang dual channel na feature. theoretically, 2x ang ram calculations improvement... in reality... maybe around 5% overall system responsiveness and improvements.
