I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Pwede naman. Pero mas malakas ang 1050 kesa 460 on most games eh. Pero kung may mahanap ka na 460 for 5k or less, panalo yun

ano yan? bibilhin mo pa lang? pre-built? 2nd hand? magkano?
i would recommend against it anyway. sandybridge (2nd gen) pa yan. buti sana kung unlocked na i7 2600k, comparable pa performance sa current i3 7100. atsaka kung older technology, ang masakit dyan ay ang End of Life ng motherboard nyan.
though ok sana yung rx 460. ok pa yan for entry level gaming.



ok lang pwede mo ibaba yung PSU to around 500w para makatipid pa.
pero sa same price range nyan, i would rather recommend a ryzen 1400 build instead



technically, kaya
pero not advisable. the i3 7100 can't push the maximum performance of a 1070 on some cases.
why cheap out on a 5k cpu and spend 25k on your GPU anyway? distribute mo na lang instead on better parts
also, make sure you have decent monitor at hindi 1080p 60hz lang. sayang performance ng 1070 mo kung limited lang to 60fps monitor mo. maybe a 1440p - 100hz monitor



baba nyan. monitor pa lang, 40% na ng budget mo ubos na. maybe try looking for a pre-built system package instead.

naku! kung gusto mo ng makakasabay sa 1070 na monitor medyo masakit. mga Gsync monitors costs +20k, tapos you still need to check kung 100hz or better yung refresh rate. around 28k siguro may asus rog na 1440p 144hz nyan.
yun lang you also need a decent processor para ma-push sa best frame rates yung gpu. maybe at least an i5 6600k/7700k. lamang pa rin si intel sa raw performance dahil sa higher clock speeds.

kung "laro" lang habol mo and you have a high refresh rate monitor that has adaptive sync (gsyn/freesync) tapos you want the highest fps that your PC can produce, lamang si intel... though very slightly lang dahil locked ang i5 7500...
otherwise, i would rather recommend na mag ryzen 5 1400 ka na lang instead sa mga "X" version ng ryzen. mas mura but you can still overclock it and match the more expensive SKU.
yung ryzen 5 1400 & 1500x kasi basically parang haswell i7 na yan with 4 cores and 8 threads.

napakadali mag-OC ng ryzen brod. pupunta ka lang ng BIOS at papalitan yung base frequency to around 3.7~3.8ghz... and that's it

pwede mo rin hayaan lang sa base frequency... 3dmax siguro makakaramdam ng malaking improvement pag nag-OC ka.
other than that, intel is your choice. from i3 7100 ~ i5 7600 or even the i7 7700 kung willing ka gumastos

Hi po,
Would like to assemble a pc for gaming and for school po. Mga sims 3, dota, old games like giant, sacred, age of methology. Wala pong idea sa budget pero around 15k po sana.

Also, I know medyo malayo sa pc to pero gusto ko din po sana malaman kung ano specs need ko for laptop for the same reason.
