Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

http://dynaquestpc.com/product/acer-xb241h-predator-24-144hz-1ms-g-sync-gaming-monitor/

mahal talaga gsync :weep: with the same specs ng freesync brother nila, around 10k ata price difference nila

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

Cadd
Sketchup and Vray
Photoshop
Revit
Lumion

RAM: adata 4gb 2133mhz = 1850
mobo: ECS H110M4-c3d = 2.7k
cheapo case + psu: Fortress Panamera Casing with 700w PSU = 1200
hdd: wd 1tb = 2350
total = 8100

cad? revit is also a cad software technically speaking. baka autocad?
sketchup with vray = heto ang maraming kelangan na processor cores. i would rather suggest an AMD 1600 or 1700 dito. next option would be yung bagong i7 ng intel. nakikinabang ang vray sa high end na gpu pag nag-real time render ka but not necessary.

notes:
you will definitely need an SSD
maybe a 1070 :panic: pero this is the least priority.

3) Identical yung ram (Same Brand, Size, Speed, latency)

ano yang psu mo? true rated ba yan? i would recommend either an evga 430b or seasonic s12ii 520
pagdating sa rendering, the more cpu cores/threads, the better and faster performance you'll get. i3 7100 is not worth the money kung intel ka and just opt for the cheaper pentium g4560 or g4600 instead. parehong 2core/4thread only with the i3 having faster clock speeds.
ryzen 3 would be a better alternative, set mo lang frequency nya to around 3.8ghz kahit stock cpu cooler, panalo na  pwede mo subukan at baka makachamba ka ng 4ghz OC :hyper:
or, you can opt for the newer i3 8100... pero masyadong mahal ang mga mobo kaya hindi rin good value
ram, pili ka lang kung ano trip mo. b250 mobos support up to 2400mhz ram frequencies... b350 support up to 3200mhz. ram speed has better performance benefits on ryzen systems.
video card = kahit ano brand. or kung may habol kang color theme/porma. performance differences only around 1-3fps and is still under the margin of error... though there are better cooling cards... still, i wouldn't spend much on it as long na less than 500 pesos ang price difference sa cheapest model.
hdd = either of the 2 will do.

summary: go for ryzen

intel i7 coffeelake build
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700k 3.7-4.7ghz 6 core Coffeelake = 20400
Mobo: MSI Z370 PC Pro = 8200
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 16gb 2x8GB 3200Mhz = 9450
PSU: Seasonic G-650 650Watts 80Plus Gold Modular Power Supply = 4850
SSD: Crucial MX300 M.2 275gb (NVME) = 5450
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1tb = 2390
CPU cooler: Corsair H100i GTX Hydro Series CPU Cooler = 5450
Case: InWin 503 Mid Tower Windowed = 3290
GPU: wala

Total = 59,530

pros: relatively high end, high performance components. excellent CPU performance for rendering. OC to 5~5.2ghz  arguably the fastest gaming CPU on the market today. pc p0rn :hyper:
cons: wala pang GPU. programs that make use of GPU power will be slow on this build. will crap in games until a gpu will be added.

Ryzen Build - basically, with the same parts as above.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 1700 = 16000
Mobo: MSI B350 Tomahawk = 7000
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 16gb 2x8GB 3200Mhz = 9450
PSU: Seasonic G-650 650Watts 80Plus Gold Modular Power Supply = 4850
SSD: Crucial MX300 M.2 275gb (NVME) = 5450
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1tb = 2390
Case: InWin 503 Mid Tower Windowed = 3290
GPU: Palit GTX 1060 Dual Fan 3G = 11200

Total = 59,680

pros: has 8cores/16threads... programs that make use of these will have blazing performance. has decent video card for gaming. helps a lot in real time rendering.
cons: none that I can think of :noidea:

:slap:
sama nyan brod... baka may tama yung mobo mo
wala namang known issue ang 200 series na chipset... most ram issues were fixed during the first few months ng 100 series.

https://s1.postimg.org/5thdflafvj/received_1704262829605799.jpg

eto ang buong pc specs ko,

✔ Processor: Intel Core i5-7400 3.0-3.5 Ghz 4-core Kabylake Processor
