I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Sir pasagot naman po salamat

i7 or i5 processor na aabot ang kayang speed sa 3.20GHZ PATAAS with a GTX 1050TI or GTX 1060 (sana lang hehe kung kaya yung budget) dapat nga may "128GB SSD + 1 TB HDD or 1TB HDD lang" tas naka 8GB up to 16GB na RAM pwedeng pwede na yan :) taasan mo pa mga sana 60k na budget para makabili ka ng BRAND NEW - tas ang BRAND eh ASUS or ASUS ROG or ikaw bahala basta ganyan specs and read the note below

PS: Wag kang bibili ng laptop na may letter U sa processor like i7-8550U kasi pang ultra low power consumption yan hehe dapat yung mga may HQ like i7-7700HQ. For more info about processors -> Click me :)

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

Good day po(^,^)V

budget: 40-50k pesos
usage: Office + Gaming

other miscellaneous requirements:
Mid or smaller size build but anything is fine.
AMD prefered but Intel is okay as well.

-----

Processor: AMD Ryzen (Not going to OC), 4 core or more
Motherboard: Any brand as long as it's Durable, 2 or more RAM slots, 4 or more USB Slots. 1 or more PCI-E slots and 1 Vcard slot (going to use just 1)
RAM: DDR4 16-32GB memory, stable to high frequency (2 RAM sticks or more)

Video Card: 2GB or more, Less power consumption the better.

Hard Drive: 1 SSD OS, 1 1TB or higher HDD for games

Power Supply: As long as it can support the build, modular type wiring but optional
Casing: Mid size or smaller

monitor: 60Hz or higher, 1080p native

PS:
There's a small chance that I will change the Vcard in the future.
I will add more HDD or SSD in the future so more USB slots in the motherboard the better.
Avoid adding blings into the build like LED lights, I'm more concern with the functionality than aesthetics/appearance.

30% CPU (Dedicated CPU FAN optional)
20% MoBo
15% RAM
15% VCard
20% for everything else
-----
100% budget allocation

Ty po advance(^,^)V

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

Help po, ano po magandang chasis fan para sa Tecware Bifrost? Ayoko sana tanggalin yung dust foam filter, current fan ko is also Tecware, Arc Spectrum F3.. Nakukulob kasi ata yung init ng R7 2700X (Stock cooler) at Vega 64 dahil sa hina ng fan ko, umaabot ng 80C+ habang nag Monster Hunter World (23-25C Room temp). Ok kaya yung ID Cooling ZF12025? or any good fans kahit hindi RGB. Thanks

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

My setup
MOBO: Asus H81M-E
PROCIE: i5 4440 running on 3.10 up to 3.30GHz
PSU: FSP Raider (idk 500watts or 750 watts look soon pag kinalkal)
MONITOR: -> https://www.lg.com/ae/personal-tvs/lg-22MT45A

good news to Nvidia GPU owners... sort of... :noidea:

sa next driver update nila, expected 15Jan19, they will officially support FreeSync monitors.. though hindi pa ganun karami ang officially branded na "Gsync Compatible" Monitors, which is usually yung mga unang labas na freesync monitors a few years ago tested na nila. you can try on your monitor kung gumagana... just disable it kung may kakaibang side effect.
which means, adaptive sync technology can now be easily reached by casual gamers at di na kelangan gumastos ng mahigit 20k para lang sa gsync monitors. monitors actual gsync chips usually costs around 10k more than their freesync equivalent.
if you don't understand what is freesync and g-sync, please use google.
sa madaling paliwanag: solusyon sa screen tearing
