Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Salamat po! How about kung 10k to 12k po? Thanks!

Same build ni Drone13.

Processor Ryzen 3 2200G = 4750
Mobo MSI A320M Pro (VH Plus) = 3190
RAM Kingston hyper X memory 8GB Fury = 2050
HDD WD Blue 1TB 7200rpm = 2270
PSU EVGA 450W = 2270
CaseKB&M Generic KB&M bundle w/ Chassis = 220

Total : 14750

Yan naisip ko pa check na lang...

Or, second hand units.

Thanks!

- - - Updated - - -

Palitan mo lang processor like AMD Athlon 200GE tapos yung HDD cut mo lang to 500G pasok na yan 10k-12k...:)

Di na po ba need ng GPU sa build na 12k po? I mean smooth na ba siya sa video at pag scroll scroll at maganda na resolution sa built in ng MOBO? Thanks!

Otherwise, yung first build suggestion(s).

2. rx 470/570 = less than 5k
3. gtx 1050ti = 4.5k or less. i don't really recommend this kasi ang laki ng difference ng performance ng rx 470/570 dito for nearly the same price
4. gtx 1050 = less than 4k. again, a little more at option 2 ka na lang
5. gtx 960 = less than 4k. this is older and performs on par with a 1050ti
6. gtx 950 & 750ti = not sure sa pricing pero i don't recommend spending maybe 3k dito

huh?
2060 and 2070, along with their Super variants, have no support for SLI
2080, 2080 super, 2080ti and rtx titan supports SLI
but nowadays, less and less games are supporting multi-gpu setups :noidea:
pero kung may budget ka ng 2x2060, bakit di na lang 2080 or 2080 super? :noidea:

CPU: Ryzen 3600
GPU: RX Sapphire 590
MOBO: B450 Tomahawk
RAM: Corsaire 16GB 3200
PSU: EVGA 600 BQ semi modular
Case: Thermaltake Versa J24TG

go for any gold rated (or better) branded psu. corsair, evga, seasonic, delta, superflower, bequiet, etc... these are highly recommended by most in the tech community.
about sa recommended power rating, ang magandang basis ay compute mo calculated max load mo, then multiply by 2. e.g. max load = 320w, recommended psu rating = 640w (650w ang available sa market)
ang maganda sa mga high quality PSU kasi, even after multiple system upgrades, these are still usable  kaya hindi ka rin manghihinayang sa ginastos mo sa kanila, not to mention around 5 years of manufacturer warranty
