I think this is a root phone. Or so I think it is. Got instructions from here http://bluerain28.info/?page_id=297. Hindi ko naman ma install itong mobile uncle since hindi nga nagbboot ang phone ko. So I skipped that part. Ito ba ang kulang ko kaya hindi ako nakakapagboot?

How can I boot my phone? Please help!

You can get stock 918N ROM via Alcatel One Touch Upgrade.

Thanks for the reply. It's what I actually doing right now. Currently at 84%. Crossing fingers

EDIT:
Fixed by upgrading from alcatel site. Ang daming sites stating never erase data while root. Now I know.

pra mo dn kxeng binura ung file system when you did the WIPE ALL
kea mgandang ngwiWipe before flashing a new roms. un po tlga ung use nya. prang to fresh install

I see. But my problem was after wiping all, stuck ako sa system recover. Kahit mag reboot ako bumabalik lang din dun.

Help po. Naglagay ako ng backup ng apps folder sa loob ng /custpack sa SD card. Kaso napansin ko, nawala yung backup na ginawa ko.

Help. Meron po bang may copy nung folder na yun sainyo? gusto ko lang po sana ng backup. marami rami na po kasi akong nabura dun sa current /cuspack folder ko.

Pag nag restore factory settings po ba ako, babalik yung folder na yun ng complete? I'm assuming oo.. tama po ba ako?

Mawawala po ba yung pagka rooted ng phone ko pag nag restore factory settings ako?

Nakahanap ako ng microSD adapter sa bahay, I try partitioning my microSD again, and with the help of it, it works like a charm! I'm so happy! I successfully did the partitioning! :dance:
Now I'm restoring the backup I did. Thank you so much sa guide.

kaya payo ko, successful ang partitioning kapag gumamit kayo ng microSD adapter or card reader. Kasi kapag USB mode ang ginamit nyo, laging 'Damaged SD card' ang sasabihin ng phone nyo, leading to reformatting of your card. :yes:

Addendum:
Hindi po lahat ng apps / games ay namu-move / nali-link ko sa 2nd partition. Ang napansin ko hanggang 20 to 30MB lang na apps/ games file size ang kayang i-link sa 2nd partition.
Ito po ang error message: [install_failed_insufficient_storage] I tried to Google it, but even the developers and Android developers failed to find a sure fix for this.
Ayos lang, malaking tipid na din iyon sa internal memory.

Hehe, finlash ko kasi yung YONIP CM pero di ko na mainstall yung POWERAMP trial na nasa Android apps section dito sa forum. Sa mga prior ROMs kasi (YONIP, GBlaze) may lilitaw lang na "... is not compatible... Continue anyway?" na dialogue tapos "Continue" lang. Ang sa YONIP CM, "Application not Installed" lang agad na may un-clickable na arrow sa left side.

AFAIK, inapply ko lang yung updated na V6 at KAK pati yung build.prop tweak ni Bluerain.

PowerAMP is in the root of the SD card, wala akong backup since andyan lang naman yung APK file...

Solution? :help:

Tried that too. Then nagreboot wala pa din. I also tried changing the product name sa build.prop yung isang Player Pro lang ang naginstall :rofl:

I have several versions of the app: 1.4, 2.0.4,2.0.5 and 2.0.6. Walang gumana

That's crazy, intayin natin ang creator ng custom ROM. Besides hindi po ako nagamit ng custom ROM. :) Sorry, gang dito na lang po ang maitutulong ko. :(

ask ko lang po sa mga bihasa.. nakalink2sd po ako now pero gusto ko magshift sa data2ext ano po way or step para magawa ito. PLEASE REPLY WALA PO KASI NAPANSIN SA MGA NAKARAAN KO NA TANUNG. TIA..

Slay p OFF topic .. n root mo n yung paladin mo n tablet...... bumili kasi ako ng coby tablet d ko p rin m root :) sensya n po tao lng... :)

may kelangan idelete na functions from link2sd bago mag data2ext kasi mag iistuck lang after magreboot. search mo lang andyan lang yun

download ka sa market ng root uninstaller dun m maiunstall mga default apps.. at tinanggal q n ung nimbuzz, facebook, twitter, youtube kc pde m nmn cla ibrowse sa browser eh.....now 30=mb internal q.

paano po b mas pbilisin pa ang phone ntin? kc mnsan d tlga my lag eh,, nid m pa mghntay n mgload ung mga icon lalo n pg galing ka sa sms at sa galery, then pg iback m n lag na xa at wait m n mgload mga icon.. my way po b pra ms mpbilis at mwla ang lag? suggestion nmn po dyan.. slamat po

Try mu sir quickpic na app. Yun ang gamit ko ngaun kasi mas mabilis sya kesa sa default na gallery na app. Nakapag install ka na ba ng ram manager?
