Hello Sir! Pwede po magpaturo sa'yo ng mga advance technique sa asterisk? Brief background lang po kung pano ako "naligaw" sa asterisk..hehe
IT admin po ako sa isang broker company, nung unang entra ko dito network and server admin lang alam ko and zero knowledge po talaga ako about sa telephony,... eh itong boss ko sabi nya kung marunong ako sa voip, sabi ko hindi pero willing ako pag-aralan... at ayon na nga nanood ako nung tutorial video about it at pinag-aralan ko ung basic... hanggang sa kinonvert ko ung isang PC dito to be a server..installation pa lang pamatay na.. pero thank God andaming sources dito sa internet na mga turorials...to make it short successful naman, from old na pbx nmin upgraded to voip na sya, ung old PC pla is my installed na sangoma A200 card na may 6 FXO cards... may IVR na rin, tska ung followme, succesfully config nmn...

ang gusto po ,mtutunan from the expert tulad nyo ung mga advance na features... like IM, presence tsaka sa vicidial...sinubukan ko pero gang ngayon unsuccessful pa rin. asterisk 16.1 ung installed...

Tanong lang guys.

Nag set kasi ako ng voicemail sa server namin, tinry ko tawagan ung number namin and gumana siya. Ang problem ko lang is halos 6 rings before nag activate ung voicemail. Paano ko ba gagawing kaht 2 or 3 rings lang tapos magiging active agad ung voicemail? Thanks.

If inbound: babaan nyo po ang "Drop time Seconds" default is 120 seconds
if Outbound set nyo ang "Dial timeout" default is 60 seconds, set nyo sa 30 seconds.

boss, meron ako Vicidial na latest. Pano ko ba macoconfigure ung Inbound, Outbound, at Trunk na gagamitin ko? Meron ka bang Step By Step procedure? thanks in Advance. Gusto ko kasing to Vicidial dahil maganda reportings nya.

The carrier successfully registered. However, when I tried to perform an outbound calls, the Asterisk logs always shows below and the calls didn't go thru:
chan_sip.c:26515 handle_request_invite: Call from '132' (123.123.123.123:65476) to extension '7861064648855' rejected because extension not found in context 'default'.

I need to use number 7 as my Prefix. Hope you can help me. Thank you in advance!

salamat paps. gumana ung dial pattern sa outbound kaso walang Inbound call. Anything na pwede ko icheck? naka disable na SIP ALG sa firewall (Fortigate) tpos policy are all good since wala namn naka block na ports.
