guys, mukhang I need more breather sa Paranormal.... I tried reading GH series and Finished Angels' Pawn and Angels' Blood, so far hindi ako satisfied (no offense sa mga GH fanatics) it's just that the story is kinda fuzzy to me... Maybe need ko lang ire-read or need ko ng para ma shake off yun hangover ko sa IAD? Anyways, I searched for the sequence ng series, Here it is:

(Prequel) Angels' Pawn
Angels' Blood
Angels' Judgment
Angels' Kiss
Angels' Consort

Is this the correct order?

@maysapaw - OMG, ikaw po pala yung nag reco ng Duncan's Bride. I read it last week! First time ko makabasa ng book ni Linda Howard and some say na hindi daw yun ang pinaka maganda nyang work, but hellloo.. i loved it! I was surprised by the MAIL ORDER BRIDE THEME . Akala ko forever nalang ako maiinis kay Reese because he's so alpha male, wanting a very typical submissive baby-giving wife..buti nalang Madelyn's character is really strong. I admire Maddie's character. Kasi she's tough, willful chaka she taught Reese a very important lesson... na hindi lahat eh kagaya ng ex nya. Bagay na bagay na heroine ni Reese

I'll move this to the top of my TBR list... Like ko yun mga ganyan stories... Parang Alpha-Male didn't know what hit 'em coz the heroine is different from what he wants.

Just finished reading Saddled and Spurred (Blacktop Cowboys, #2). Another first. This is my first cowboy read, and yes, i didn't read book 1. I don't know anything about cows, horses, ranch etc kaya may terms and phrases na medyo niresearch ko pa. The heroine, Harper, is a beauty queen. Ang dami nyang titles. The catch is, kelangan nya magwork for Bran (ranch owner) as a hired hand. I thought magiging whiny sya since beauty queen nga and all. But her personality is just the oposite. The ending is really very sweet. Ang cute ng mga ginawa ni Bran. I found this pic sa mga comments sa goodreads..

kung eto talaga si Bran, i wanna be his beauty queen too!

hay, ang sarap siguro makulong sa hard muscled arms nya... hehehehe, parang magiging like ko to... Reminds me of Kristine Series

then i seriously urge you to read Duncan's Bride, as in now na

then follow it with Linda Howard's Mr. Perfect, and magiging perfect ang mga oras na binasa mo sila (lol overselling ba?)

about Guild Hunters - no problem. i think to some, it will be quite slow and less funny compared to IAD (duh...walang makakatalo kay Nix ) and the book is really much darker, feeling ko habang binabasa ko eh with sinister sound effect, lol.

maysapaw: Okay I'll read your Linda Howard recos now (I did read the first few pages nung Mr. Perfect before, wala lang siguro ko sa mood kaya di ko na tinapos).

BTW, has anybody read LH's Open Season, meron kasi ako nun dito sa bahay, dala ni Lola, is it any good?

just finished reading Duncan's Wife and i give it 5/5 katuwa un trivia showdown ng 2 protagonist... Hehehe... Reco ko na rin na basahin nyo guys...

Just finished Mortal Instruments book 4.. Its sooooo frustrating! bakit palaging kelangan may hadlang kila Clary at Jace? I thought this book is centered on Simon? errrr... ako lang ba nafufrustrate? hehe super rant. Bitin pa. hmpf....

Sabi ko na nga ba eh ... Hindi ko muna babasahin iyong City of Fallen Angels hanggang matapos ang series. Pero ang tagal pa - two years pa!

@Slayze & ayanamifaerudo - Nung nahimasmasan naman ako, narealize kong centered nga naman kay Simon (and his torn between two lovers dilemma ). Pero shempre pinakaaabangan ko sila Jace and Clary. Nakakabitin lang talaga. And of coursssee, maganda ang mga scenes. Magaling talaga magdepict yung author. Kaya lang if i could turn back time, i am absolutely going to wait for the next book bago ko eto basahin . I had no problem with the first 3 books since naka out na silang lahat before i started reading.

spoiler.. i really think Isabelle is the one for Simon. Maya is definitely going to end up with her ex, Jordan Kyle. I think. /end of spoiler

@diokdin - read the 3rd book na! may conclusion naman yun. And maganda ending. Hindi ako nabitin. . unlike etong sa 4th book. 6 books ang na announce.. so 2 more to go.

Hmm.. sana may iba rin na nakabasang pinoy and magpost dito. Haha, i really wanna know kung ako lang ba nadisappoint sa ending. Action packed yung book. Maganda kasi hindi naka focus kila Jace and Clary lang. Medyo nalinawan ako sa personality ng ibang characters. Kaya lang yung cliff hanger eh.. errr.. some say maganda naman yung timing ng cliff hanger. I guess i'm a very impatient reader.

Medyo kakalimutan ko muna ang Mortal Instruments... ang tagal pa kasi ng next book...

haha. siguro hintayin ko na din muna marelease ung 6th book bago ko basahin para hindi bitin. pati ung Clockwork Angel, nagsisi ako nung binasa ko. may cliffhanger din e. hanggang ngayon iniisip ko pa rin kung anong nangyari sa dulo nun. tapos love triangle pa! pag hindi nakatuluyan ni Tessa ung bet kong guy..... naku! maddepress na naman ako. T_T

@ maysapaw: Kaka-start ko pa lang ng Duncan's Bride and I'm loving it already. In the beginning, it sort of reminded me of the movie The Mirror Has Two Faces (where Jeff Bridges was typing an ad, hehe )

Maganda din ba yung book ng stepbrother ni Madelyn -> Robert? Loving Evangeline ata yung title. He's quite an interesting character kasi. I saw na parang ginawa ding movie yang book back in 2003.

nabasa ko ung ending ng City of Fallen Angels, parang ayoko na muna basahin, hintayin ko nalang marelease lahat ng books, ok na un ending sa City of Glass e, tapos ngayon bitin nanaman hai nako i'm planning to read Clockwork Angel nalang hehe at least sa December meron na ulit haha..

just finished reading Mr. Perfect and I give the story 5/5 rating... I super love the CSIsh thingy sa story.... @maysapaw thanks sa paghighly recommend ng Mr. Perfect Linda Howard is a genius in this story... Imma add it to my fave book list...

@sticky-feet, Slayze, meowcute93 - tama, i suggest sa lahat ng may plan basahin yung Mortal Instruments Series, stop at book 3 muna. Uhm, lets wait hanggang lumabas na yung book 6 bago ituloy.

@momma - hindi ko matapos tapos yung Mr. Perfect, palagi nalang kasing nadadivert yung attention ko sa ibang book. I think i'll give it another shot. kay sticky-feet ko lang po ata nakuha yung ganung ichura ng spoiler

Have you seen this book?

nakita ko sa goodreads. Mataas rating nung series. 2 books palang. Angel - demon - human love story ata ang theme. Parang halo or hush hush. I wanna read it pero wala talaga ako mahanap na ebook. Maybe because australian yung author? Anywayy.. looking forward to this book.

Right now.. i'm reading Lies (Book 3 of Gone Series). Parang wala ako sa mood basahin kaya i feel like its dragging. Hmmm..

according to fantastic fiction, october 2011 pa yung book magiging available (siguro internationally).
