if you check the description of the YA's/New YA category, the boys are always described as dangerous, rocker, etc (but always softie sa heroine)

but...since it has already a precedent when you compare it with the original historical romances (rake/playboy, etc), then i guess...understandable

aww...im sad about Simone Elkeles. writer should never ever react on a bad review. or better yet. give a general thanks to all reviews whether it's good or bad.

tinapos ko na pareho ang vincent boys at vincent brothers. so clingy/needy/selfish ni ash. . na enjoy ko naman. pang tangal "suya" sa paranormal YA, pero kung ganito lagi, nakakasakit din ng ulo. stick muna ako sa contempory, wala pa ako sa mood mag paranormal. iniisa isa ko na mga gawa ni abbi glines

maybe it is too late for this but i love Tammara Webber's Easy, i was hooked by Lucas' sexiness. and i want to grope his ass too I was pleased because no love triangle involved, which I'm getting tired at.


I finished another book by Tiffany King's Unlikely Allies , again no love triangle involved. yay!. i love the exchange of witty and sarcastic banters between the main characters.

I read few chapters of Molly McAdams' Taking Chances. It is good and similar to Beautiful Disaster. Lot's of angst and hot guys.

i also love Sherrilyn Kenyon's series the dark-hunters and nick chronicles...

thanks sa mga nirecommend nyo dito,,,i've enjoyed a lot of the books so much esp YA.....kawawa na masyado mga mata ko neto....pero okay lang basta makapagbasa lang heheh!

^ Nakakatawa pa din yung book 2 (Futures and Frosting) pero mas gusto ko pa din yung book 1.

BTW, sino na nakatapos ng Reflected in You by Sylvia Day? medyo disappointing yung book.

nbasa ko na Reflected in You, hmmn.. ok naman sya. im disappointed as well, mejo naguluhan ako ke Gideon, nkakaasar sya! hehehe. di sya msyadong detailed unlike ng book 1. hmn.. well lets wait and see sa book 3.


BTW, has anyone read The Opportunist? is it good? nttakot dn ako umpisahan. hahahaha

Natapos ko na.. I guess mejo disappointing nga lalo na sa dulo... pero I still liked it kasi nadivert na sa fifty shades. (parang yun lang wish ko noh? hahaha)

Surprisingly, maganda yung plot this time... (maraming issues and weird things but still...) well, except near the end nung ang dami daming secrets and ang sinasabi lang ni Gideon ay trust me. LOL.. I mean, I kinda get it kasi nga he was doing something serious for Eva.. pero.. hmm.. the mystery and the "waiting" for an explanation got to me. Tapos cliffhanger-ish pa?

I'm currently reading contemporaries. I seem to have lost the patience for paranormals and historicals for the time being.. Ugh,, hindi ko pa nga nababasa yung Lethal Rider ni Larissa Ione eh.

Ang dami daming books... I wish I had a lot of time to read... like maybe a whole week. hehe wishful thinking

I guess ganun talaga noh kapag super sikat nung author AND NUNG SERIES na ginawa nya, hahanap hanapin mo yung element na andun sa series na yun sa mga next books nya.. kaht unconsciously. Added to the fact na parang boring nga nya (I started reading it .. started as in page 1-3 lang hehehehe).

Added to the fact na parang boring nga nya (I started reading it .. started as in page 1-3 lang hehehehe).

oo nga eh, nakakamiss yung fantasy books nya... i stopped after reading Mary's POV... i couldn't keep up with the names anymore eh, madami na masyado, haha...

btw, yche i just checked your blog (sa house ko lang pwede macheck block sa office haha, finally may internet na ako ulit sa bahay, woot woot!) dami mo na ngang nabasa, kainggit!

....and i just realized, after enumerating in january the books that we've read, we all stopped doing it!

Akala ko kaya nagswitch ng genre si Rowling para hindi macompare sa HP ang new books niya. Di ko pa nasimulan ang The Casual Vacancy kasi may duda nga ako na boring siya. Ibang iba ba sa previous writing style ni Rowling? Yung political issues ba mas grabe kesa sa books ni Stieg Larsson?

I also can't believe na ganun karami na nababasa ko.. Nagincrease na nga ako ng goal sa gr eh.. nakakatakot lang baka hindi ko matapos.

Hahahaha.. nagbigay naman ako ng mga recos na iba after january... Mejo dumalang lang kasi sometimes walang time magpost and I lost track of what I wrote the last time.. baka madoble ba. Ayun.. anywayy, I'm planning on posting a YEAR-END RECO list just like last year. It's gonna be super long. This time, ilalagay ko na rin pati mga not-so-likable books (for me).

@yche09 - i'll try to come up with a list by the end of the year...and like you, it's going to be super long! I read a lot of books this year, tsaka karamihan YA... i like the idea of voting, we can create polls here right? parang GR lang

@Enja - I think that was her goal. At first medyo defensive pa ako sa mga negative reviews...kasi super fan ako ni JK. I defended JK pa when the news about the book being banned in India because of some sensitive topics mentioned in the book (yung mga Sikh leaders were upset sa description nung isang Sikh girl character sa book)... However, after reading the first few chapters, ayun...boring talaga eh Pang YA lang ata ako
