Poem Coffee and Cigarettes

The moment you touch my lips I awaken.
The more I take, the more I am taken.
My blood is pumping and I cannot rest,
The warmth flows from my mouth to my chest.

I am filled with renewed energy and vigor,
This ecstacy makes me feel like a sinner.
A daily dose of you keeps me sane,
Like a drug that occupies my body and brain.

After a few hours the effect wears off,
I crash down after that beautiful take off.
The aftertaste is awful and bitter,
It makes me want to swear it off forever.

Tomorrow I'll wake up and think that I need you,
I'll fight it even though I really want to.
To inhale your scent and taste you once again
This is not love, it is just caffeine.

Salamat sa pagbabasa.

Pang-araw araw lang na mga nagaganap ang insipration. hehe. although I gave up smoking a long time ago, naaalala ko pa rin ang effect niya.
Like love. Memories na lang. hahaha!

ako isang araw natigil nung first day ko sa boracay :slap: nung sunday ng umaga ako andon, kakauwi ko lang kahapon kaso 8:30 na nakauwi gawa nagcommute pero worth it ang adveture. :yes:

Hahaha! One day lang natigil?
Gawan mo rin ng tula yun. hehe.

Ako cold turkey, I decided one day that I would stop tapos yun I stopped. Hehe.
