sensya na sir di ko kabisado eh. dapat buksan mo muna dapat same sila ng socket papuntang lcd to board yung parang vga sa desktop na sinasaksak from monitor to video card ganun din yan mas maliit nga lang at iba iba ang design pag parehas yan shoot yan boss malalaman mo naman kung gagana o hindi. pag same model halos parehas lang takbo ng voltage nyan . kung di ka sure pede mo padala sa akin sagot mo lang shipping.

salamat naman at nakatulong ako kahit konti. anyways yung socket kase design sa board yan malabo mong alisin yan dahil may mga designated pins yan. kung anu yung nasa board yun na talaga yan kaya kung hahanap ka lcd dapat parehas po sa board ninyo yung ikakabit

puntahan mo na lang yung binigay kong link.. pag ayaw pa din pa remote mo na lang sa akin para makita ko problema. download mo na lang yung bagong driver tapos download ka rin ng camdiag para makita mo kung naka install yung camera mo at walang problema sa mga port ng usb na pinag kabitan.

Obstructive lines similar to that of VRAM failure (but usually other more defined symptoms are also present)

Lack of fan control where fan control was previously existant
Card is detected as "Unknown VGA device", having code 39 errors, or remaining completely undetected

Multiple symptoms are often displayed.

vram failure -Unlike core failure, VRAM failure will cause random, regular patterns of corrupt symbols, pixels and small lines. Highly common and most often easily repairable. Can also result in Code 39 errors, not being able to install driver, not being able to boot into windows etc etc.

Alternatively, bad RAM, incorrect RAM timings or low CPUNB voltage can cause random symbols.

line of death -Most common on the GeForce 8 series. I have had 2 cards and 2 laptop boards through here exhibiting these symptoms and no amount of reflowing directed at each specific area of the card fixed it. There is a known problem with G84/G86 chips used in many laptops which will cause this. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole 8 series was affected.

If you are facing this issue, the card is most likely toast, if the trick DOES work it won't last very long. If there are horizontal splits through the lines, it is a whole different problem (see repeated, regular patterns of artifacts)

Which area of the card is responsible? Damaged smaller components behind or near to the VRAM can cause this on any card. Aside from that, no clue, suspect core as per the above article. Very rarely, the NVIVO chip is at fault.

Which area of the card is responsible? Core or VRAM, I have seen this problem caused by both.



Blue Screen of Death - 0x116, 0x8E and others

Bluescreens targeted at the nvidia driver will often point to nv4_disp, nv4_mini and nvlkkdm. This can be caused by just about anything (even flash player).

good am din po sir. yung power adaptor mo ba matagal mo na gamit bago nawalan ng display? kahit wala kang battery ok lang po yan as long na ok ang power adaptor mo at parehas ang voltage output nya.

1. tsek mo muna pag power mo kung umaandar ang exhaust fan at hindi namamatay. - ibig sabihin hindi vga card yan pedeng inverter ng lcd monitor or lcd mismo
2. try mo alisin ang dvdrom, harddisk, wifi card etc. tapos replace ka ng ibang memory nakapasok ka sa bios ibig sabihin isa sa component lang ang problem
3. pag wala pa din pede sa video card na po yan pag power lang at nag off ang laptop mo after mo i on.

wala po ako extra video card nag start pa lang ako sa shop ko kaya namimili muna ako mga sirang laptop na kaya ko sa presyo.
dati kase ok lang kase sa company ako sawa sa stocks ng pampalit kaya order based na lang po ako ngayun sir.


malabon po area ko at dito lang ako gumagawa sa bahay

Salamat po sa pag sagot sa tanong ko Sir. although maraming naka-post na example problems na nka display, wala po dyan yung issue na nae-encounter ko. hindi po ako makapag screenshot ng screen nung acer kasi wala po akong cam at the moment, at hindi rin po makukunan ng screenshot dahil wala pong display na kahit ano. siguro po describe ko na lang po yung na-e-encounter ko from the moment na buksan ko yung unit.

Acer d255 po yung model nung unit na pinapagawa sa akin. here's a complete review about the unit para may idea din po kayo.

So after ko po pindutin yung power on, totally dark po yung screen ng laptop pero meron po syang activity dahil nagbi-blink po yung sa hard disk nya. after a while, lalabas po yung boot logo ng linux based os nya na may acer logo. then after nun, eto po yung screen na makikita nyo:

crystal clear po yung display nya at no defects whatsoever. pwede mag wifi, internet, games, etc. basta nsa loob ng linux interface nya. then after mo mag sawa kaka-explore, may button dyan kung gusto mo pumunta ng windows. after nun, mag black nanaman yung screen nya, pero you can hear the windows 7 startup sound after a few moments.

since wala po akong makita at meron naman akong desktop lcd monitor, kinabit ko dun sa vga port nya at meron po akong nakikita na madilim na imahe nung desktop na comparable sa laptop na nasira ung backlight. bukod dun eh hindi rin proportion yung screen nya dahil 1/4 lang ng upper left screen ang sakop nya pero kita mo yung buong desktop. kahit bagu-baguhin ko yung resolution, hindi naman nagre-resize ung display nya.

I have a video of the laptop a few weeks before it broke down to it's status today. san ko po pwede i-upload na hindi na kelangan ng account?

salamat muli po sa pag sagot sir. I dunno kung software po, kasi kahit bios po hindi ko makita eh. Ilagay po natin ung problem sa ganitong scenario sir... supposing ayaw na mag nung owner mag linux at bagong palit yung hard disk nya (which is un po ang gagawin ko ngayon), eh di wala pong os involved. anything I do eh no display sa lcd nung laptop, at super dim po sa external monitor. If I try to install windows, sa external monitor lang po ako naka-tingin, pero no display sa laptop. I can't conclude na lcd ang issue or inverter kasi malinaw naman ung display sa linux, or baka mababa lang ang demand ng linux sa display kaya meron syang naipapakita at mukhang walang problema. Ayaw na din sa linux nung may ari kaya I can't see how updating linux would do any good. I don't know if merong relevance eto, pero I can only assume na dahil un-even ang resolution ni linux kaya sya may display kaya pwede tapos ayaw nya sa traditional resolution ni windows kaya ayaw mag display.

salamat muli po sa pag sagot sir. I dunno kung software po, kasi kahit bios po hindi ko makita eh. Ilagay po natin ung problem sa ganitong scenario sir... supposing ayaw na mag nung owner mag linux at bagong palit yung hard disk nya (which is un po ang gagawin ko ngayon), eh di wala pong os involved. anything I do eh no display sa lcd nung laptop, at super dim po sa external monitor. Problem. ayaw mag start up. mag on lng ung power nya for 5 seconds tapos patay na ulit. pahelp nmn po.

boss basa lang backthread. possible videocard yan boss kagagawa ko lang ganya dell inspiron 1440 pag on mo seconds lang off na lahat pati fan. builtin ang video nyan change motherboard ka po. or pedeng power transistor/capacitor po check nyo na lang kung marunong po kayo gumamit ng tester.
