How does Globe apply the Fair Use Policy to this service?
The Tattoo@Home Broadband product was designed to provide you a steady browsing experience in the convenience of your home! With it, you can enjoy consistently fast and reliable broadband service. It even lets you stream data and download large files. But if you use this service other than its intent as mentioned, you might experience slow browsing.
Keep in mind that our Fair Use Policy applies to ALL products and services, which include special offers and/or promotions. It aims to provide you with free data usage or lower than standard usage charges, or unlimited access to data usage.
DSL and WiMAX provide the following maximum usage allowance that when exceeded will result in moderation of speed. The speed will refresh monthly or daily depending on your plan and when you availed it.
For WiMAX plans installed before May 13, 2011, the usage allowance is refreshed on a monthly basis with the following thresholds:
• For WiMAX 512 Kbps: 16 GB – 20 GB per account per month
• For WiMAX 1 Mbps: 21 GB – 25 GB per account per month
For WiMAX accounts with Speed Boost add-on or if it was installed from May 13, 2011 onwards, the usage allowance is refreshed on a daily basis with the following thresholds:
• For WiMAX 512 Kbps: 1 GB per account per day
• For WiMAX 1 Mbps: 3 GB per account per day
• For WiMAX 2 Mbps: 5 GB per account per day
For DSL accounts with Speed Boost add-on or if it was installed from November 11, 2011 onwards, the usage allowance is refreshed on a daily basis with the following thresholds:
• For DSL 1 Mbps: 3 GB per account per day
• For DSL 2 Mbps: 5 GB per account per day
• For DSL 3 Mbps: 7 GB per account per day
• For DSL 5 Mbps: 7 GB per account per day
What net activities can I do with a usage allowance of 1GB? Don’t you think that bandwidth is too low?
There are lots of online activities you can do with 1 GB! You can:
Browse up to 10,486 web pages (100 Kb web page)
Send and receive up to 2,048 plain text emails (500 Kb emails)
Upload/download up to 1,020 photos (1 MB photo)
Download up to 246 songs (4 MB song)
1 movie (700 MB video file)
Will I be affected by this policy?
If you do not share or download large files from the Internet, rest assured that you will not be affected by Globe’s Fair Use Policy. Media streaming and downloading of torrents contribute to extensive use of bandwidth capacity and if left permanently on may cause you to break this policy.
What will happen if my usage requirement is high?
To fully enjoy Tattoo@Home Broadband services, make a quick assessment of your usage. If it is more than the Plan you subscribed for, then go ahead and upgrade your plan to suit your usage requirement and lifestyle.
Occasional high bandwidth usage is unlikely a cause for concern. However, regular high bandwidth usage may require you to upgrade your plan to optimize use of your broadband service.

DSL USER HERE FOR 1 and a half year

pansin ko sa DSL ko, mabilis sya sa unang 3-5months ko pero grabe ang bagal kapag tinopak sya, minsan ang dalas nya topakin, naka 3repair na sila sa line ko

inaabot ko pa ang capping nila kahit na (no idea sa speed pero ang download rate ko sa idm is 100kbps pinakamablis) ganito sched ko

mon-sat 6pm-11pm lang ako gumagamit (online games, fb, youtube)
sunday 8am-11pm (online game, fb youtube, download anime)

if mahina ka lang naman gumamit ok llang to, naiintindihan ko sila ts dito, dahil unang buwan palamang nila, minsan binabawi nila sa ibang month or araw pero tandaan nyo may pinirmahan kayong contract, at nakasaad dun lahat,

ok ang DSL sakin ng globe walang ka lag lag ang online game ko, MYRO DFI kahit bumagal ng bahagya sa browsing/downloading

ndi pede or ayaw nila? ikaw magsabi meron naman plan na 3mbps only internet..u can see it also sa website nila..try mo mag apply calling globe hotline bro..ako sa hotline lang nag apply eh...sa email ko lang pinadala requirements na docs..after 2 days nakainstall na agad..

try mo sa hotline magapply dial mo lang 211 from a globe cp..

ang alam ko ang line ng dsl wala sa poste lol..nasa box ito n nakalagay sa mababang place..iisa lang naman ang site nila eh so kung ako nakita ko plan n ito..imposible po n ndi mo makita porke iba location mo...iisa naman ang website nila..pero the best nyan mag inquire kayo sa hotline...saka back read kayo kasi sa umpisa p lang sinabi n agad n ndi need ng landline nito

Hindi porket DSL may telepono nang kasama. Ito nga wala e. Kaya ginawa nilang unlimited internet kasi internet Only plan ito. -_- zzzz.
