Facetime is disabled by default in unsupported countries like the one in middle east.

To activate Facetime on your iPhone, you will need to have a jailbroken iPhone.
- Add this repository http://apps.iphoneislam.com in Cydia.
- Once the repository has been added, search for “FaceTime Hacktivator” in Cydia and install this application.
This app will automatically patch all the files required for the Facetime toggle to show up in Settings.

as far as i know wla po tlagang facetime icon ang iphone 5... default na xa sa contact list mo... may facetime option sa contact list. icon is only visible on ipad tablets.

philippine store gamit ko sa itunes wala paring masearch na facetime sa itunes..

Kung ganyan nga wala na tayong magagawa dyan unless apple will put facetime available to all models..

sa region lang po yan kung saan ninyo na purchase. se un facetime po eh app na package kasama ng iphone. gamit ko po iphone 4 hongkong..

Meron Facetime ang mga iPhone 5, kung wala, ganito ang gawin ninyo:

1. Restore a fresh iOS sa iPHone 5 mo.
2. Make sure when activating your iPhone 5, use the official simcard ng iPhone mo, kung factory unlocked naman ang iPhone mo, any simcard can activate your facetime. But some simcards may cost you when activating your facetime.
3. After activating your iPhone 5, go to Settings - Facetime - You will see there "Waiting for Activation" wait mong matapos ang activation doon, same goes as to your iMessage, you need to activate it too...

Mga Sir eto na po kay Sir eduard ang solution 100% po sure ito kasi ganito rin ang ginawa ko at kasalukuyang nagagamit ko ang Facetime.

ip5 ko rin walang facetime nabili ko lang din dito saudi.. They just have an option of facetime for separate models which is more expensive. The question is, is it possible to install facetime for those models? Sa ipad mini ko rin wala..

Lahat po ng iphone starting on iphn4 ay may facetime.. Stock app po un.. Hnde po un mawawala sa ios 7.. Sa ipad mini( running ios 7) po talaga ay nasa contacts ang facetime .. Ang apple ay walang option sa mga iphone na may facetime o wala .. Lahat po ng iphone starting on iphn4 ay may meron ..

wala po talagang facetime pag ang iPhone ay ginawa para sa middleeast country maliban nalang kung ito sa international version.

Meron ng pagasa ang iphone 5 at 5s dapat ay IOS7. Mahabang proseso pero worth it naman. Dapat nakajailbreak kasi gagamit ka ng dalawang cydia apps at isa sa windows 7/8 apps para iupload ang deb apps. Yan ang hints ko sa yo. Kasi nasubukan ko na yan.

Cydia apps
1. Ssh
2. Ifile

Windows 7/8
1. Cyberduck - iupload ang dalawang deb files kasama isa dyan facetime deb apps.

Research nyo muna yan. Mahabang process yan.

Missing FaceTime App! Here is the solution
First BackUp your iDevice using iTunes or iCloud backup
Second After mong magback up Mag erase all data ang settings
Third step after mag reset settings tignan mo kung andyan ang FaceTime app

Other solution:
Make sure na walang Restriction
Settings - General - Restriction
Turn on mo ang FaceTime sa Settings - FaceTime
Update your iOS Version
FaceTime ay pwede sa:
iPhone 4 and up
iPad 2 and up iPad Mini and iPad Air
iPod Touch 4th Gen and 5th Gen


(Note: Block ang FaceTime sa Middle East !)

Tanong lang po. Noted po na walang FaceTime pag galing ang iphone sa Middle East.
Eto po tanong ko... Pwede po bang gamitin yung backup ng (1) iPhone 5S na may FaceTime sa (2) iPhone 5S na walang FaceTime? Lalabas kaya ang FaceTime pag na restore yung backup ng (1) sa (2) na walang FaceTime?

to update this thread, its now year 2016

just bought two iphone 5s, one with facetime, one without facetime (for project JB)

difference:
with facetime version: maliit ang kahon at walang nakasulat na arabic na sulat
no facetive version: malaki or mataas ang kahon at meron arabic na sulat

with my project JailBreaking:
preloaded ios on no FT version is 9.2 = no chance to install FT because it cannot be downgraded into old ios version as apple server stopped signing it. ibig sabihin ay basa-basa pa muna ako.

Ito rin rin problema ko imessage ko nagana, pero facetime restricted daw sabi ni siri., yung facetime icon wala sa settings at restriction pero my icon sa my cellular data.
