Question po,

MOST at IMPORTANT requirements when applying a Korean visa ?

how much din po ba kailangan na money for a show off pag pupunta sa Korea? at anong magandang bank account gamitin for that money?

? is that true ?

Thank you in advance

UP ko lang po

Super dali lang kumuha ng visa, I applied myself last month and was approved. Eto profile ko:

early 20's
female - single
working as a CSR for more than a year
have some travelling abroad (more than 3 times)

Make sure you have the following:

  • Fully accomplished application form (sa Korean embassy website)
Do not leave any blanks..kung not applicable, type NA.
  • Photocopied ITR
  • Passport photo
  • Certificate of Employment
  • Bank Certificate - Original
  • Passport of course!

Tapos sa loob, may table where you can ask the lady kung saan ka pipila. Pumila ako sa Window 2 as per her instructions and waited for the number to be called. Pag tawag sa number ko, I approached the window and gave the consul lahat ng requirements. I actually had to go back kasi hindi tinanggap yung unang Bank Cert so I had to come back the following day.

Be very careful sa requirements.

So nung tinanggap yung requirements, I was given a white slip indicating kung kelan ako babalik to claim my passport. No interviews. Mine said after 10 days, tapos may date. (not an assurance that I will be approved of a Visa). Pagbalik ko they returned my passport sa Window 2 din.

Notes:
1. Hindi ata important ang show money. I had 20k+ sa bank certificate ko. Just assure them through your profile, na babalik ka sa Pinas.

2. Koreans love it when you support their culture. I got a visa dahil sinabi ko pupunta ako sa concert ng Super Junior/play ng isang Super Junior member (I had photocopied the tickets to the show to prove it). Hindi na ata eepek yung Travel/leisure. Gasgas na eh. If you can, be specific about your travel plans.

3. Visa application times: 9-11 am monday to friday.
Visa claiming times: 2-4pm monday to friday.
They're very strict sa time!

4. They allow proxies (read: Iba maglalakad ng visa mo).

5. Dress appropriately.

6. Cant stress this enough, maging maingat sa requirements! Hassle pag may kulang! Important ang ITR, Bank Certificate, Certificate of Employment.

7. Pag denied ka, you can reapply after 6 months.

Good luck!

Thank you for taking time writing those for my question, meron lang po akong tanong

as of this moment kasi wala pa akong trabaho, kakagraduate ko lang last May (Fresh graduate at 19 years old palang po ako :[ ) so there's no way na may maipappakita ako na ITR or certificate of employment.

ah, bakit niyo po pala sinurender ung passport? iclaim niyo ung passport niyo later sa araw ng pagclaim niyo ng Visa? so meaning for 10 days nasa kanila ung passport mo?

What if this is the case for example?

My parents will give me the money for everythign I will need pag punta ko sa Korea and since I am still unemployed, paano po ako makakapag apply ng visa sa Korean embassy? of course may plan ako mag trabaho dito pero I wanna know if there's an alternative way kung ganito ang situation ko (actually ganun nga hehe)

Gusto ko kasi mag stay sa Korea for about 1-2 weeks at imeet ang GF ko, and then kung may chance, manunuod din ng concert or performances ng mga Kpop stars na kilala ko, not really fund of Kpop stars/idols anymore pero lalo kasing lumaki attachment ko sa Korea ever since nagkaron ako ng gf which is Korean siya.

Also, my purpose is for travel only at hindi magwowork sa Korea, I heard my ibat ibang types ng Visa, ano po ba kukunin ko?

thanks

No problem man. Eto sagot sa tanong mo..

1. In your case, sasabihin mong parents mo susuporta sa trip mo. Now you will have to present financial statements ng parents mo.

Kung denied, may white slip na nakalagay stating the reason for denial.

3. Would be better if hindi mo imemention yung Korean GF mo. Para safe, don't mention na may friend ka dun or whatever, kasi may letter ka pang kakailanganin, which is not easy to get. Notarized dapat and whatnot so mahihirapan ka lang. The best way is to say na pupunta ka sa concert of show ng (insert kpop artist here). It seems na yun ang pinakamadaling way to get a visa. If you need tickets, have your girlfriend buy for you, scan and print, then ibenta mo sa day ng concert if you dont intend to go talaga. Mabebenta yan sa lakas ng hallyu wave.

4. Visit/Tourist visa kunin mo.

http://embassy_philippines.mofat.go...20111026/28259_file_VISA APPLICATION FORM.pdf

5. I really dont recommend Agencies. May bayad yun and wala ring assurance na ma-aapprove ka. Did I mention na libre pala ang Korean Visa? Free sya, valid for 3 months, maximum of 59 day-stay single entry. So why would you need an agency kung ok naman ang profile mo?

 Good luck uli! Let us know how it goes.

(seems original copy hehe)

I didn't know na free lang kumuha ng Korean Visa, that's a good thing.

All I need to do is to save money at mag work muna haha, next year ko kasi balak pumunta dun at kaya nag tanong ako is gusto ko malaman ng advance kung paano ang process, passport ko maeexpired next year at hindi ko man lang nagamit even once haha :weep: so hopefully magamit ko siya before magexpire next year :)

Thanks again Mam LiaLiaLia ~ god bless po

Prepare the originals and their photocopies just in case hingin. Thats what I did.

Another thing..Visa free ang travel sa Jeju Island, basta direct to and from Jeju yung flight. Meet nalang kayo dun ng girlfriend mo ;) Enjoy your Korea trip!

<newbie here>

my sisters and i are planning to visit south korea too (hope the "war" between the south and north will not push through) and we're kind of worried sa visa application namin. we want to go there because of the hallyu thing ^^ and we're bringing our mum along. we only have less than 30k (each) in our bank account and mum's not working anymore. anong pwedeng i-present ng mum ko sa embassy since she doesn't have coe and itr? o_O

also, magiging major factor ba sa pag-approve ng visa if you have utang/loan? we have a housing loan kasi sa pag-ibig and 15 years to pay yun. we're worried kasi baka maging hindrance yun sa pag-grant sa 'min ng visa...

and would also like to ask if magkano ang budget for a 5d/4n stay in sk? we're planning on doing a do-it-yourself trip. enough na ba ang php160,000 for 4 people...?

thanks in advance for the response... :D

Hello,

Sana may magreply pa dito.

Magaapply ako this coming wednesday. Regarding about ITR, need po ba na may stamp? Yung original?
