When you say "safe" TS, does it mean upon downloading a file over the Internet, it will not leave any digital fingerprint back to you?? Because Secure Socket Layer or SSL (that little 'S' in https://), basically only encrypts the communication between your computer and the web server, which is very useful lalo na sa online banking, online shopping, and sending private messages to a friend. That way the bad guys will not be able to do a man-in-the-middle attack that easily. But not because the website uses SSL, doesn't mean you-will-not-be-tracked.

Siempre, nakapa importante pa rin ng SSL. Pero maidagdag ko lang TS, to be more safer, I would recommend using any type of proxy service tulad ng Secure Shell (SSH), Tor (although sometimes could leak your DNS) or much better, a reliable VPN service, etc. Especially if you're downloading some really "important" files.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE SAFE ONLINE?
