How to make your own home solar. With Pictures + solar book

hello good pm medjo may budget na po ako para sa DIY off-grid solar ask lg po ako 100w panel 20amps SCC and 100mah will be ok? using 2 12v DC fan and 3-5 LED bulbs will be using during night time only since yung kuryente sa isla eh hanggang 12 MN lg will be using the fans and lights around 5-7 hrs thank you

As said Sir Tristan, dapat alam mo ilang watts or amperes mga fans mo... usually the 12 volts fans are around 15 watts... so it will be ok (assuming they are 15 watts talaga!) with a 100 Ah battery... my concern is more about the ratio panel/battery. A 100 watt panel will have a hard time charging properly a 100 Ah battery especially with a pwm controller. So either you get a mppt controller or you add 50 or 100 watts of panels.

Once your terminals are clean na, cover them with petroleum jelly... it will protect them for a long time!

Di pala naka on.

There is a big chance that it can recover! As said Sir Tristan let it charge (with this bad weather it's better if you can charge it with a charger if you have one). Please, keep us inform if it recovers! Good luck!

Ok na boss tristan at mam awinahe. Kinabahan ako, kakabili ko lang kase last august yata 2017 yun. Hehe. Thank you, ginamitan ko nung charger.

gandang umaga po.

newbie question.

TS, ok to. Naghahanap kasi ako ng mga reference materials about DIY solar power. Thanx! :salute:

pwede po..
sa ongrid kahit anu size pwede dyan

sa offgrid you need to take consideration sa sizing kung ilang oras mo gagamitin

there are many different systems :salute:

Depende sa solar panel... you will need, at least 250 watt solar panel and a 30 amperes PWM charge controller or 200 watt panel + 20 amperes MPPT charge controller (more expensive but more efficient) You can find cheap PWM controller sa cdr king but also sa lazada, olx or solar store (depende sa location mo)

I cannot answer! 12 volts 5 amperes is what? appliance? panel? battery? controller?
