A800 Rooting Guide

ROOTING VOIDS YOUR PHONE’S WARRANTY. ROOT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

-Download the root tool: http://uploaded.net/file/0fpyh5c5

-Enable USB debugging on your A800.

-Connect the phone using supplied cable to a PC, drivers should be automatically installed (I use Windows 7).

-When the driver installation is finished, extract the root tool that you downloaded earlier to a folder.

-Now, run the runbe.bat file from the folder

-A command prompt based tool will open, follow the on-screen instructions and your phone will get rooted in no time.

-You can use the same tool if necessary to un-root your A800 later.

A800 user here. 1 buwan ko nadin gamit to, and I can say that this phone rocks! Isang bug palang ang naeencounter ko (add new contact bug), other than that OK na OK talaga.

bali sa ngaun wala pa kami new update for phone ang mga update lang nmin is the games un kasi kadalasan mga tanong or unga launcher palng ang pnaguusapan.. join nalan kau sa group naten para mas mabilis ung usap ung iba kasi sa group hinde member dito..

-any recomended games, apps, roms po?
-ano pala magandang set up nung sound effects kapag naka headset? di ko kasi makuha ang tamang timpla.

I have rooted my unit already. Installed Titanium Back-up and disabled some Native Apps that I don't need. And voila, the unit works really well, though it has 512MB of RAM.

I am not that so impressed with the Lenovo UI, is there a way that we can install the BASIC ICS UI into our UNIT?

As far as I know, wala pang JB update for this kind of unit.
Free internet, it depends sa SIM (network) mo.
I don't know how to answer the rest of your questions.

sir paano ko po malalaman kung rooted na phone ko? wla kasi ako makitang superuser na icon.

nakalagay successful tapos nagreboot na yung phone pero di ko maopen ang droid vpn...ibig sabihin di padin rooted talaga...paano po kaya ang gagawin?

yun pong nasalink na nandito sa thread tapos ang gamit kong cable ay yung ksama sa package..ang pipili ko po ay yung option 1 (normal mode).

may problem pa po pala kasi after ko gawin yun di ko na maview yung mga images na nacapture ko sa cam...tapos kapag binuksan ko yung cam all black lang ang makikita...makikita mo lang yung image na kinukunan mo after mo maclick yung shut. tapos ganon ulit di mo na yun makikita sa gallery...buti nalang naayos nung nagreset ako.
