--- i don't think you "can" actually.. I suggest reformat talaga since upgrade yan.. at mas mabilis yun.. that way parang marerefresh yung system mo.. tutal madami ka naman na makikita installer dito nyan..

~ Ang alam ko kasi sa windows 7 lang meron no-reformat-upgrade, yung gagamit ka ng WAU(windows anytime upgrade) keys yata yun.. hehe

--- dude, as much as possible kasi gusto ko yung ibibigay ko na suggestion may basehan at subok ko na.. kaso yung problem mo ay kung di naman ikasasama ng loob mo, masyadong luma na.. kaya yung suggestion ko upgrade ka na ng bago.. sensya sensya dude.. ~antay nalang natin yung ibang suggestion ng mga master natin dito..
--- kung gusto mo naman subukan yung nasa video ok din.. basta backup ka muna lalo na yung mahahalaga mo files..

Hnd ko mapalitan os ng laptop ko. Currently merun syang ultimate 7. Kaso expired. Pnapalitan ko sya ng vista ultimate. Kaso lging cnsbi ng pc is puno na daw yung temporary files. And make atlist 451mb. Error na sya. Hnhnap ko kung asan yun. Halos edelete ko na lahat. E 500gb yung pc ko. Pano po yun??? Pls help.

gusto ko sanang mgdual OS. xp & kung ano ang maisasuggest nyong linux OS na magandang gamitin for web development (PHP & postgresql). kailangan ko muna kasing hasain ang alam ko sa linux OS bago ko palitan ng fedora ang win server 2003.

bka may installation guide kau for dual OS for dummies? maraming salamat.

kaya kaya ng toshiba 1gb ram ung ubuntu??

kasi 2007 pa ata yung laptop ko ehh windows vista ang nakainstall dun.

gusto ko ng paltan kasi super slow kasi ng system ko.

advice lang tungkol sa specs na kelangan ng ubuntu.

saka balak ko ding maglagay ng backtrack OS so compatible kaya yun yung ubuntu at backtrack??

thanks sa thread na to at marami akong natututunan.

---dude, eto ang Min. System Requirement for Ubuntu

• Processor = 300mhz
• ram = 384mb~512mb (default graphical installer)
• storage(HDD) = 4gb

~about sa backtrack naman. i suggest na, just keep it on live-cd or live-usb.. not as a fully installed OS on partition..

Update lang..I'd found an alternative for libreoffice calc that will run on terminal/console(see image at lower left)...

• open terminal and type gksudo gedit /etc/default/grub
• Find and Edit these settings as shown.~ if there is #(hashtag) in front of these settings just remove them.
  

  GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=1
  GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET=true
  GRUB_TIMEOUT=0

• Save and Close. On Terminal again, type sudo update-grub && sudo shutdown -r now ~this updates grub and reboots your pc

~ Bakit LM12 parin gamit mo sir?, may LM13 na..hehehe
