Find 2 numbers whose difference is 4 and the difference of their squares is 88.

x - y = 4
x^2 - y^2 = 88

then,
x = 13
y = 9

check in eq1:
x - y = 4
13 - 9 = 4
4 = 4

check in eq2:
x^2 - y^2 = 88
13^2 - 9^2 = 88
169 - 81 = 88
