SPFT and Mediatek Driver

Once you finished downloading the files at the top, proceed to the following steps:

STEP 1
Extract all the files (E.G.: Right click>Extract to Foldername)

STEP 2
Turn off your phone, remove the battery (do not connect to pc yet).

STEP 3
Open Device Manager (easiest way: press Windows Button + R>devmgmt.msc >ENTER).

STEP 4
Before you plug your phone in PC, you need to focus in Device Manager, you only have approximately 5 seconds to appear MT65xx device that shows under Other devices, you need to right click it as soon as you see it.

Then after you rightclick, click to Update driver software

Then choose - Browse my computer for driver software

Browse the Mediatek MT65xx Preloader Driver folder

Make sure you know the version of OS to choose the right driver for your PC.

Choose your OS version, then choose if 32-bit or 64-bit for your PC.

E.G. s Win7 folder:
usb2ser_Win7.inf - if 32-bit
usb2ser_Win764.inf - if 64-bit


After you select the driver, click next and next again then wait for installation.There's possibility that notification doesn't show and ignore just proceed to the next step.

STEP 5
Go to SP Flash Tool v5.1352.01 Folder, then open flash_tool.exe

STEP 6
Under Download tab, click on Scatter-loading button, browse Mp Rio Fun Stockrom, then choose MT6572_Android_scatter, then click on the Download button at the top.


STEP 7
Once done, green check show,You can now unplug your phone. Then turn on your phone and reboot!

Congrats!

dead boot pa rin.. nung pag flash ko may nakalagay some image did not boot properly ba un.. ano pwede gawin? ilang beses na ako nag dl ganun pa rin.. help thanks

sir sinunid ko naman ng tama lahat ng steps at download ok naman sya pero bakit bootloop pa rin?

pagkalagay ko ng battery turn on ko sya pero bootloop pero, nung nag system recovery ako carliv na yung recovery mode nya hindi na stock recovery.

pag flash ko ayun gumana. thanks sir. working sya. pag bootloop pa rin siguro kailangan pa rin i wipe using carliv.

Boss TS at mga Sir, Pano po kung ganit lumalabas na error Message "sp flash tool error 3168: S_CHIP_TYPE_NOT_MATCH", may nkaincounter po ba sa inyo nang ganito? pano po to ifix?
