sabi kc nila bago daw mag-root ng phone, mag-backup daw muna ng apps. ano ano po bang apps ang baback-up'an? puro po default lang ang apps ko ngayon kasi kabibili lang nung SGY ko.

dowload ka ng clockworldmod CMW...then install mo sya tru recovery..then pwde mo na sya ma backup lahat ng appz at data mo..make sure na may memcard kang gamit...

dati kasi di naman naglalog yung mga laro.. eh install ako ng install ayun naglog na mga laro kakatamad tuloy maglaro...

You should buy original battery. Why? Because class A baterries are not packed as the original ones, they might harm your phone or even worst is may cause harm on your health as well.

Hahaha thanks! Unfortunately wala na akong SGY, so definitely hindi ko na mauupdate yung CreedSix or make some new ROMs. But I'm willing to help other devs or modders out there. I have a new phone na, LG Prada 3.0 running CyanogenMod 10.1 JellyBean 4.2.2.

You will know that you are rooted when a new app appeared in your app drawer called Superuser or SuperSU (Android Pirate face logo). Some android users prefferred Custom ROMS rather than Stock since it is already rooted.

Maraming use ang root, there are apps on PlayStore or some dev apps that need root permissions. The reason is yung mga apps na yun will modify some system files in your Android phone. In example are modifications on system app, advance theming that can change a whole new look, tweaks for faster, smoother and better performace. If you open an app that needs root, may popup window na magaapear. This window needs your permission for a root access or not, if you choose not then hindi gagana yung app.

Hope this helps you a lot in understanding root.

Download ka ng Root Checker sa Playstore.
Once na binuksan mo yun, makikita mo kung rooted or hindi.
Pero the easiest way to check is looking for an app named "SuperUser"​

thanks po ng marame sa sumagot ng tanong ko... ngayon naiintindihan ko na.. kungbaga sa symbian phone eto yung hacking? ... nakita ko na nakaroot na nga sgy ko... kakaupdate ko lang din ng fw.. pinagiisipan ko kung anung magandang custom rom na gamitin.. ok ba yung repencis ? creed? or chobitz?

It depends on YOU actually, try them all and compare their cons and pros. Try one Custom ROM for every 3 or 5 days with heavy usage.

I advise you to read for the comments first.
May users kasi na hindi satisfied sa ROM.
Or like Mr. Saiz have said, try mo isa isa.
One that would fit you just right!
