Re: [OFFICIAL] Samsung Galaxy Y (5360) UPDATE: 2/11/2012 --> Flashing (S5360DDLA2)

done bossing...ayaw pa rin..tsk! any suggestion?:help::pray:

Last time na ma-corrupt ang memory card ko (bago pa ako nagswitch sa SGY) at hindi rin ma-detect ng PC or ng phone ko yung SD card, nanghiram ako ng nokia na phone at ni-format ko yung SD card using it. Gumana naman. Try mo rin i-reformat ang SD card mo sa nokia phone it might work.

Re: [OFFICIAL] Samsung Galaxy Y (5360) UPDATE: 2/11/2012 --> Flashing (S5360DDLA2)

I'm almost sure, that Creed's ROM and Hybrid ROM has modified kernel in it. I'm not sure, that the kernel core itself is recompiled or not, but the initramfs part is modified, because init.d support is included.

So test the kernel flash functionality, You can extract the boot.img from Creed 2.1 install zip, and flash it via the tar file provided above. (And in addition you get init.d support for script tweaks)

i tried.i think they are modified with xda androidkitchen. they dont even boot.(boot.img never flashed into phone when installing the rom.CWM doesnt flash it).modified boot.img by xda kitchen dont working(for our phone i mean).also thats why these rom doesnt mount the ext partition early and have to do "quick restart" by link2sd so it can load app that are in sd-ext

as per my understanding, when a rom has init.d support it automatically runs the scripts in the init.d folder. as per my experience on creeds rom, maybe its just me, but the scripts dont run, so an alternative is install script manager and have those sscripts load on boot. on my stock rom, i ran zipalign, sdtweaks, some kernel tweaks, (from creeds rom), through script manager. and it works!!

commanderELITE you have my congratulations!this dont mean that other guys who make roms dont deserv it.its just that you made something a bit better:its the only rom that mounts the ext partition from boot and a2sd working fine!also after instaling your rom i realised something:in the other roms that was CWM flashable,the kernel wasnt flashing into the phone!!!only with rom that are Odin flashable the kernel flases!your rom's kernel name is different that mine(i have european firmware)and after i saw that i flash and reflash roms by CWM and Odin to check that i am saying.so i would suggest if you agree,you all guys who developing our phone should talk together on how to create Odin flashable roms so we can finaly sometime,manage to flash a custom kernel to our phone!thanks(if it easy learn as how to make odin roms)

Re: [OFFICIAL] Samsung Galaxy Y (5360) UPDATE: 2/11/2012 --> Flashing (S5360DDLA2)

Re: [OFFICIAL] Samsung Galaxy Y (5360) UPDATE: 2/11/2012 --> Flashing (S5360DDLA2)
