Mga Options:

(Router)
Buy a better router with great QoS capability or router's that can be installed by Tomato FW

(Desktop)
Bili ka ng lan card (I assume na built in lan port lang gamit mo) then ang gawin mo is from ISP Modem > Built in LAN Port > PC (PFSense running VMWare or VirtualBox) > Yung binili mo na LAN Card > to WIFI Router

(Laptop)
Eto na testing ko na to I used my old laptop. Medyo complicated to.

ISP Modem > Built in LAN port ng lappy > LAPTOP (PFSense running on VMWare or Virtualbox) > Wireless Bridge (via laptop's built in wifi) > Wifi Router that is set as wireless bridge mode. Then create another wireless network in your router wherein pede sila mag connect..

BTW I use tomato fw runnning on RT N66U..

Take Note: Malakas sa resources ang pag run ng VMWare alongside sa PC mo.. It should be powerful to handle demading tasks like DOTA 2 and VMWare at the same time kundi di kalang mag eenjoy sa game mo.. Better buy a secondhand PC yung mga tig 2,500 na core 2 duo then gawin mong dedicated server.. pede mo pa naman kasi magamit un as backup purposes or media server sa bahay :)

kung may pera ka, bili ka ng Atom board, kahit yung D510 or later models kasi matipid sa kuryente yan, nasa 13-15watts lang for pfsense use.

meron ako D510 setup with Sophos UTM Router Firewall OS. with 4GB RAM at USB flashdrive. OK naman yung setup ko, nakaka block ng mga sites very effective kahit https pa sya, at kung anu ano pa, Home use lang sya so free yung license nya for 50 computers/devices, nasa less than 15devices lang naman meron kami so swak yung home license para sa akin.

yun nga lang mapapamahal ka ng gastos dito, kung alam mo gamitin ang Ubiquity HAP-Lite router, ok na yun, mas mura sya for a ng 1-2k kesa sa pfsense setup.
