You should worry when your vehicle is showing a trouble code. It means there's something wrong with the car otherwise it won't be throwing that check engine light. It sounds like there's something wrong with computer box. Are you experiencing anything not normal when the check engine lit up?Do you experience stalling or hard starting/restarting? Do you have an alarm system and are they functioning well? Maybe there's something wrong with your electrical harness especially to the computer box. better have it check.
