Di po ako expert pero sana po in my own little way, maka tulong ako.
I'm just speaking from my own experiences regarding my BB.
Just feel free to ask, and we'll try to resolve all your BB issues!

menu -> options -> security options ->security wipe
then click mo ung gs2 mong ma format.. if u wish to format everything, just check it all. then it will WIPE your device na.

regarding the system busy icon, try mong ilagay ibang sim sa bb mo. given you've already tried soft, hard reset and mag bawas ng mga downloaded apps and if updated naman OS mo. if ganun pa rin sya, u may have to have it check na. kasi, its the phone's software na.

then ung sa browser, nung binili mo xa, nka install na talaga ung voda browser? and hindi ung BB browser? and sa pag DL mo ng OM, baka di sya compatible sa BB mo. why not try downloading apps instead of using Opera Mini? wala rin namang free browsing ang Blackberry phones.

hi... tanong ko lang po if kung yung keypad ba nitong blackberry curve 8520 ay nag wowobble pag tagal... (wobble = parang lumuluwag or gumagalaw, kasi nga bulk type yun buttons unlike sa BB Bold)

Have you tried these steps?


1st: make sure ur bb curve 8520 has d os5 installed.
2nd: get a gps/gprs/internet active phone.any unit will do,just make sure its internet capable.
3rd: open ur bb's bluetooth and the other phone's bluetooth on..
4th:go to menu-options-advanced options-gps.then gps data source must connect with d oder fone youve used.u have to connect via bluetooth.den gps services must be: LOCATION ON. Then go to facebook places! Now,youll b able 2 check in!

If nagawa mo na lahat yan, have you tried it outdoor?
If yes and still having the same problem, i suggest you use foursquare.
Its normal naman na d ma detect agad ang places ng BB kasi wala syang built in GPS thats why we have to connect it to other device via bluetooth. and its also possible na nasa mejo isolated area ka lang kaya di ma locate ang current location mo. so, i also suggest doing it outdoor. na e-experience ko rin un. pero pag ayaw talaga, i use foursquare to check-in. you can also connect it to your FB and TWITTER accnts.

Case to case basis po kc yan.. nakpg bawas na po ba kayo ng mga unused apps? it might help po kc na mapa bilis ang device.
if sa FB app nyo na lang po na eexperiendce ang pag f-freeze, i suggest you try to re-install it. (given youve tried hard reset, while on pull the batt and let it reboot).

Mag dodownload sana ako ng mga themes pero kailanan ng blackberry email pero nung gagawa ako ng email..... Isang option lang ang lumalabas "i want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server" yan lang ung option pero sa iba dlwa.. Pa help nman po... Bale nka line lang ito sa globe.. Pa help po!!! Salamat!!

punta ka po dito using a desktop/laptop http://us.blackberry.com/ jan ka gawa ng BlackBerry e-mail add. pwede po kahit anong existing e-mail account. then as u follow the steps po, u will have to connect your BB device via usb to complete the progress. then ma iinstal na rin ung BlackBerry appworld sa cp mo,para in case na cellphone lang gamit mo, u can easily download themes,games,etc fron BB appworld.

kung smart ang BIS mo magagamit mo ang Places pero pag globe kelangan pa ng extra handset.

sige po sir, try nyo po. basta po once na naka connect na po via bluetooth ung BB nyo sa device na ginamit nyo and un na pong name nung device ang naka set sa GPS Data Source nyo, you can turn off the bluetooth na po.

kung smart ang BIS mo magagamit mo ang Places pero pag globe kelangan pa ng extra handset.

Im sorry sir,Im a Globe user po. And Ive also tried using Smart. No offence po, but Smart really gave me a hard time figuring it out. Nabawasan pa ko ng sangkatutak na load. and ung CS Rep ay hindi magandang kausap. pa iba2 sila ng cnasabi. Di ko nga po napakinabangan mga apps ko. That's why di ko po na try ang FB Places. Kaya po Ive decided na mag iba na lang ng network. Well, I guess po case to case basis din po un. kasi ive known some people who has the same problem checking in, and Smart users po sila. Ive gave them the same procedure and it worked well with them naman.
