@thanderthore just want to know how can my kies tun into administrator?

This type of issue boss is with regards sa OS mo, I mean if your getting this error and your Windows(if your using Windows)then your Log in account is not set with the proper privileges, then for sure you will be getting that error.

But if your the administrator and KIES is giving you this error, try reinstalling KIES, dont forget to restart your computer after uninstalling and as well as after reinstalling

Yup it usually takes time, pero not for about many hours, it usually takes several minutes..just wait for it po..just make sure you have internet connection when you upgrade..

Oh.. Thanks. It's been 'preparing' for almost 30 minutes now.. I'm starting to think about aborting it..

Sir/Maam, when doing this, you have to close KIES, although as mentioned on the flashing step, you need to have KIES but when flashing, kindly close KIES..I had that error, did this step and it worked for me..

Waah! Napakatagal naman nitong 'Preparing firmware upgrade components..'!! Nag-restart na ako ng laptop and phone, then tried the upgrade again. Tapos almost 30 minutes na siyang nag-pprepare for firmware upgrade... HELP! T^T

bakit sakin walang nangyayare? nadetect nga firmware upgrade pag napindot na walang kahit anu kahit yung 'preparing firmware upgrade wula..help naman po pls

hello po. i have tried everything na po. and have done every thing perfectly. kaso po, in the middle of upgrading po, eto yung yung palaging nagpa pop -up ang Dll initialize fail.

ni re install ko na po yung kies. tapos na follow ko na din yung steps na nilagay nyo po. help po. i'm so desperate to have a qwerty keypad.

Mga sir, anu po bang mga specific firmware version na pwedeng gamitan ng kies updating?? kasi po lahat nung mga XTC/XTE/NPL/GLB/KOR eh present sa Corby 2 ko po..

^^yun po yung lumalabas sa software version ko po pag tinatayp yung *#5239870#.. TIA sa mga makakasagot..

Hmmm, as far as sa akin, ng work sya, and i did those instructions..do you have the latest version of KIES and when you upgraded the Firmware to the "Asian" Firmware,i mean after, did you connect it to KIES first? As well as do you have the latest version of KIES?

Let me know as to I'm interested to help,,and it worked for some

thunderthor tenx sa yong time. oo un pinkabagong kies na ipinost ang dl ko. pero i'll try na gawin muna un open kies bago ko magflash. tia.

wala naman lumabas sa kies na "new firmware available". ang nakalagay lang eh kung ano un gamit na firmware. ginawa ko un instructions mo, from downloading the indian firmware, changing kor to npl, la pa rin.

wahhh....pare tnx dito....naupdate q na corby 2 q...galing mabilis lang pati magupdate....siguro mga 30mins lang.....
