Fresh install on my notebook, Linux Mint 12

Cool, bright and fresh sumner!!!
Yan ang desktop hindi cluttered, hindi masakit sa ulo at sa mata...
I have got to try Linux Mint in my VBox.

Here's my Ubuntu Linux Oneiric Ocelot

medyo cluttered na ngayon.. yung panel but it's for the sake of easier navigation.

uso pala ang mga puno sa desktop natin noh? hahahaha.. dahon na naman yung akin

I really like the look of Mint.
Gnome desktop nya, right?
Just like previous versions of Ubuntu.
Namiss ko rin ang Gnome, Unity desktop ko ngayon eh.

Try ko Mint next week sa VM lang muna.
Am still preparing for my upgrade to Ubuntu Precise Pangolin on the 26.

You gotta see this! This is jer's desktop cube, Linux Mint din distro nya.

Yes, I really love the clean and modern look of Linux Mint kaya na-inlove kaagad ako.. I'm using the cinnamon desktop environment, based on gnome din.

Ang cool nung kay jer.. pano yun?

EDIT: yikes! OpenGL.. baka di kaya nitong netbook ko.. hahahahaaha

Ang gamit dyan ay Compiz. Do you have Compiz?
Install mo sya, then may option doon na desktop cube.

Again, punta ka sa thread and you can ask jer yourself, mabilis un sumagot kung online sya

i'm a noob pa when it comes to linux distros and sa mint pa lang ako nakapag-explore...

but para sa akin, mint is very easy to use, nandyan na lahat ng apps for everyday use, installed na yung flash at java. sabi nila, mas madali raw gamitin yung mint for first timers.. i don't know how true that is coz di pa ako nakapag-try talaga ng ubuntu.
