I am trying to setup my X-lite softphone dialer. I am using 936 modem-router. I understand by default naka turn-on ang SIP ALG feature with most routers and since hindi pa debranded ang 936 wala pa nalabas na admin/superuser so currently there is no way to disable it.
So what I did as basic workaround is to open port 5060 used by VOIP clients, disable router firewall, disable OS/Windows firewall lahat ng firewall disabled na. I also pinged and traceroute the domain/server nung SIP VOIP server all seemed ok but still I am getting SIP Error 408 which is authentication error it seems timeout lagi I can't reach the server. I am thinking baka need ko talaga disable yung SIP ALG it may be messing around with NAT. Gamit ko pala is Trams LTE no issue sa stability ng WAN so that is not the case. I tried running SIP ALG TCP/UDP test failed result.
Any insights?
