ask lang mga boss sana masagot po..

pwede ba ko magscan ng ibang ip range bukod sa area ko?

for example bulacan area ako, pwede ba ko mag scan ng ibang areas na malalayo sakin?:) at meron possibility na makuhang live ip?

Sadly not, when you are on wimax globe places you behind their NAT. It's similar to when you are using a router and each computer connected to it gets an ip address like 192.168.1.2 etc... Basically globe is sharing the same few ip addresses to many users, so from outside their wimax network you can not scan.

Make sure you are scanning the correct IP range. 10.25.x.x is mine, here in Angeles, Pampanga. Your local area may have a different one. To check which range you should use log into your modem and go to status -> wan, it should look like this:

Not sure how it looks on greenpacket modems but you should be able to figure it out ;)

pano po ba ma inconvert ang ip to mac address?? baka naman po ma2lungan nyo ko.. tnx newbie lang po ako dto.. :]]

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my settings and a couple tips for successful scanning. In my range at least, 10.25, during the morning/non peak hours I see a lot more modems in 10.25.0.1-10.25.100.1, at night I see more modems in the ranges above 100. It's nice to scan above 100 in peak hours. If you have web detect enabled most of the time you can tell greenpacket modems apart from the huawei ones by looking at the webdetect result. Greenpacket modems almost always say lighttpd, while huawei will say [n/a].
