Tutorial Sony Xperia XA (F3115) Flashing to FIX BOOTLOOP

Hi guys.

Wag kayong malungkot kapag nag fail si XA na mag boot after nougat update. Happens talaga lalo na kapag unstable ang bagong update or in other cases, biglang nag lowbat si XA in the middle.

NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF DATA OR UNLI NET KAYO. THIS IS ONLY APPLICABLE IF YOU HAVE A PC / LAPTOP.

Kung may warranty pa kayo, use it nalang para kampante at stress free ang day nyo. Pero kung wala na, well, let's say, hanapan natin yan ng way. Don't attempt to buy a new phone yet.

Pero, after you do the steps below, YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE DATA THAT IS STORED ON YOUR PHONE. FACTORY RESET LAHAT. But don't worry, SD CARD will remain unformatted. So, safe ang mga anomalyang ginagawa nyo ni girlfriend/boyfriend na naka store sa sd card nyo.

This is a very long post, so PLEASE, read attentively and follow instructions chronologically.

NOTE: YUNG FIRMWARE NA ANDYAN IS TESTED KO NA SA UNIT KO, BOTH MM AND NOUGAT VERSION.

STEP ONE:
- OPTION 1: Download .ftf file from this: F3115_33.3.A.0.127_R2B_Australia Generic_1302-4361 (NOUGAT VERSION)
- OPTION 2: ( MM ) Note that this option will rollback your device to Marshmallow. Download .ftf file from this: F3115_33.3.A.0.127_R2B_Australia Generic_1302-4361 (MARSMALLOW VERSION)


After downloading, save the file to your desktop. Make sure WiFi gamit mo kasi about 2gb ang mga file na yan, baka d kana makapag mobile legends after. Put it in a folder na madali mong ma access (preferably sa desktop mo i-save)

STEP TWO:
- Unlock your bootloader.
Now this is the tricky part. After you unlock the bootloader sa phone nyo, voided agad warranty ni XA. So, if you wanna withdraw, now is the time. If not, follow precisely.

- dial *#*#7378423#*#*
- punta ka sa SERVICE INFO > CONFIGURATION > ROOTING STATUS. kung ang bootloader ay nakasabing YES, you are safe. If NO, sorry, may mga bagay talaga sa mundo na di natin kayang makuha kagaya ni crush.
- record your IMEI on a piece of paper by dialing *#06#.
- punta ka sa bootloader unlocking page ni Sony ( developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootl…/unlock-yourboot-loader )
- follow instructions on the page.

STEP THREE:
- Download Flash Tool for Xperia ( flashtool.net/downloads_windows.php )
- Download XA adb and Fastboot drivers ( developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers )
-install the flashtool and drivers until confirmed na installed na.

STEP FOUR:
- Open Flashtool
- Select FLASH DEVICE ( lightning logo )
- Select FLASHMODE
- locate your .ftf file (step one) sa source folder. Makita mo sa FIRMWARES section ung dinownload mo na .ftf firmware ni XA. Select until makita mo sa content ang auto-boot.ta, boot.sin, boot-delivery.xml, etc.
- Click FLASH
- kung makita mo ung PREPARING FILES FOR FLASHING, you're on the right track. If not, there's something wrong sa firmware na na download mo. Repeat step one.
- Follow on screen instructions ( follow 2012 )
- Kain ka ng skyflakes.
- Wait for the process to be completed.

If the prompt says FLASHING FINISHED, NOW UNPLUG YOUR DEVICE...

CONGRATULATIONS! Okay na si XA. Now, reboot your device.

Your device is now stable. BUT, be aware of the cons:

- your bootloader is unlocked, so the warranty is voided.
- you cant update your software anymore via OTA. If you wish to update, repeat the steps.
