are you sure your phone is rooted? kailangan po kasi ng CWM para maflash mo yung super user.

Yes sir, I am sure that my phone is already rooted. I was able to use CWM in flashing super user. BUT when I turned off my phone, since I had to flash another zip file, the custom recovery went back to Android System Recovery, and not CWM. So I had to go through the whole process again and was able to flash the zip with CWM. When I turn the phone off and go to custom recovery, it just reverts to Android System Recovery.

BTW, I followed bluerain's method.

I really have no idea, Sir.
Temporary fix is to flash CWM first using flash tool. After that I can boot into CWM and flash the zip file(s). But after rebooting and turning off the phone, when booting to recovery, same thing happens, I am back with the Android System Recovery.

Update:
Fixed it!
Flashed recovery image (recovery.rar, posted here: link (thanks to the poster!)
Booted from that recovery and flashed CWM_5028_Alcatel918N_v235. Reboot and shutdown. Boot to recovery and SUCCESS! CWM 5028. Tested several times and it's still there.

try mo mag-OTU since yung otu will install the rtiver of your phone let OTU do it then you can proceed sa step 3. may instruction naman po yung otu sundin mo lang let it detect your phone then pede mo na icancel then proceed na sa pag flash ng recovery image



So no need to do na ang 1st n 2nd step.. what is rtiver? then saan part ng OTU ko na sya iaaunplug? pag may downloading na lumabas? Thanks nga pla for the immediate assistance.

mga sir pahelp naman po, hindi mabasa ng pc ko yung phone. I tried OTU pero ayaw pa din. kapag sinasaksak ko yung phone sa pc nagchacharge lang, hindi lumalabas na USB connected. nakacheck na din po yung USB debug mode. please pahelp.

Sir Thanks Rooted na phone, anyway pag may superuser na app.. rooted na? .. and then ano magandang nxt step after ng rooting ng phone.. para san ban titanium back up & chainfire3d...?

here's my steps.

First download OTU... Install..

plug your phone.. (naka off po.. & naka USB debugging)

Pagnaplug mo na and then di na detect..

Unplug mo lng tanggal mo battery mo then balik.. ganon.. lng para madetect.. ako na ka 2 tries bago ma detect.. patient lng bro..

Pag na detect na tapos lumabas na yung searching for new updates.. unplug mo na phone mo.. then proceed sa step 3 ni TS bluerain..

tanong ko lang po. meron na kasing firmware update ang 2.3.6 to 2.3.6-010 6. gusto ko po sanang i update eh,
kaso pag inapply ko ang update,
eh lumalabas yung yung Custom Recovery.
pano po yun?

wala kasing solution sa google eh, kaya naitanong ko na po.

^ pag samsung s2 po kc mas madaming apps ang puede install, yung ibang apps kc ayaw sa alcatel install, yun po, saka pag nakigamit ng wifi gusto ko sana Samsung lalabas dun sa system nila (example sa office makikigamit)

kasi sa tablet yung elf2 pinalitan ko rin ng samsung sg2 kaya gumana lahat ng games

++++ saka aditional question po, yung chainfire, basta install ko lang po ba yung apk tapos gagana na? ala po ba effect sa cpu ng phone baka kasi madaling masira

anyway, rooted na phone ko, kaso bumabalik talaga sa original bootloader, two times ko flash pareho lang babalik after two reboots
pero ok na rin uninstall nalang bloatware ginawa ko tapos gamit ako link2sd para unli apps din
