na iistock po ako sa step 2 ng pag roroot ng alcatel glory x 918n,, kasi wala nman pong lumalabas sa screen kapag sinaksak ko sa usb ung cp ng naka off

brod sundin mo lang ungs steps na pinost ko, no need to wait for the notification screen. Ganyan din ang problem ko dati, kaya pinost ko yung successful procedures na ginawa ko. Goodluck pre! feedback lang po oks na sakin

Alcatel Glory X 918N na po ang gamit ko ngayon.. Android version 2.3.6 Gingerbread po..ask ko lang, pag niroot ko po ba ito, lalaki po ba ang RAM nya? 150mb lang po kase ata diba. or is there any other ways to maximize the RAM?

Mga chiefs eto po ang solusyon sa OTU na lagpas ng 2 hours eh stuck pa rin to a certain percent.

When it goes to 90+ percent and it has been more than 2 hours on that phase (and you feel that it shouldn't be that slow, because your internet connection is fast), i think hindi na siya gagana.

What I did was I cancelled the whole process.

1. Disconnect the USB cable from the phone.
2. Cancel the OTU, close the program.
3. Retry the whole process, though this time it will take a lesser time to do the whole thing. (I've done alot of times. On the second try, it takes less than 30 minutes na lang. What I'm thinking is that na-complete nya na yung download ng necessary software, nastuck lang siya.)

And one thing mga chief, kapag wala ka pa sa step 3, kahit i-cancel mo ang OTU, ok pa din ang phone mo. Napansin ko, (2.3.6 ako, rooted, tapos kinabitan ko ng Andread 3.2. Pur oforce close, and minsan pag na-off ang phone mo, bootloop siya, chambahan kung baga) nung kinancel ko on 100% (stuck na siya dun for an hour and a half), and when I tried to open the phone, it did boot up. Eto ay applicable lamang dun sa bootable pa ang phone, trip lang mag OTU for some crazy reason.

BTW, ang internet ko ay Sm*rt Bro lang na Canopy type, if that helps.

anak ng patatas sorry zip file dn pala un... next question n lang po.. dun n ko sa pag root nun phone.. bakit pag install ko n xa cant found in directory daw un superuser installation aborted yan un error... nailagay ko nmn.. need ba xa irename as update?

i think my phone is already rooted... suggestion guys of apps that can maximize rooted phones... and usefull apps.. thanks bluerain and champeng..

question lang po ... after ko mag-OTU nagtataka ako bakit ayaw ng gumana ng Google Play Store?

naenter ko naman yung google account ko dun sa setup wizard.

1. install pda.net
*di ko mainstall pda.net pag patay anp unit ko kailangan idetect nya muna unit ko para mainstall ko ng kumpleto. .

so di na po ako nakasunod sa procedure 1 na dapat off ang cp pag ikoconnect sa pc

2.so nainstall ko na pda.net installing naman ng mtpreloader ba yun? ayaw din maginstall me dalawa kasi pagpipilian bago mag install by the way im using windos xp nga pala
*automatically intstall at
*advance install

pinipili ko automatically kasi di naman ako advance eh lol

ang tanong ko lang mga sir pwede bang pakilinaw ng konti pa kung papano iinstall pda.net at mtpreloader salamat

Pre ako rin naguluhan sa stpes 1 & 2 kaya gumawa ako ng ibang proseso, disregard mo na steps 1 &2. Try mo itong pinost ko (backread 3 pages):

1. Copy and Paste SuperUser zip file to the root of your SD card.

2. Download One Touch Upgrade (OTU) Software from alcatel website - (para ma-recognize ng PC ang alcatel unit mo).

3. Install OTU and "TRY" to do an upgrade by connecting your USB to the Desktop PC, pag nagkaroon na ng greenbar, click "cancel".
- (This is to know that you have a connection with the PC)

4. Install PDAnet.
(then skip Custom Recovery Steps 1&2).

5. Do Steps 3-9 (pag hndi na-recognize ng PC ang unit mo, remove the battery and repeat steps 3-9) before timer reaches zero.

6. Once "Download OK" appears, do the open custom recovery by pressing and holding Power Button + Volume Up.

7. Onward to steps 3-5 (use volume buttons to scroll and click the power button to "confirm file").

8. Keep clicking "go back" until you see the first screen with the "reboot" option.

9. You'll see the green android SuperUser icon from your apps after rebooting.

10. Congrats! Rooted na phone mo! (time to make a SD partition)

I'll try to help you guys understand the reason why we are doing a certain thing, not just merely following instructions without knowing what is it that we're doing. Just ask!
