If you don't need any files from it, I suggest that you format it.

Medyo OT, may chance paba marecover yung mga password protected RAR files? nakalimutan ko kasi yung password

Assuming that you got the file from the internet, search Google for the file name, chances are you'll see its download link and its password.

If there's no Recovery Record, you can't fix it. You may want to try checking the "Keep broken files" option when extracting a file. Though the file may not be used as it's supposed to.

pano po sir if yung rar file ay corrupted due to incomplete na pag download?? naputol kasi ang connection ko in the middle of the downloading process. tapos nong nagkaroon ng internet ayaw na ulit idownload yung file na malapit ng matapos. uulit uli sa pinakaumpisa. 300mb pa naman ang file.

Maybe it's because the server from where you got the file doesn't support resume of broken downloads. In that case, you have to re-download the file. Use IDM (Internet Download Manager) so that you can manage your downloads easily.

It's the same, future versions of WinRAR used a different prefix.
