Not necessarily as long as you did the process correct. As given in the instruction use it with your own risk, just follow what your heart says . However, if something might goes wrong at one point, at least you've backed it up. If I were you transfer all the applications that can be transferred to the SD card and remove the SD card on your mobile phone before rooting it. Then back it all up for those information that you want on your 3GB internal memory of your mobile phone. Once you have fully rooted your mobile phone upon following the process, you'll see a “SuperUser Icon” on you mobile interface, and you can use Root Checker if you have rooted your mobile phone correctly.

Sir Help bakit nung na root ko ung phone ko ng delay ung home button ko kapag i uunclock ko sya 3 sec delay. ganun pa din nung na un root ko na. pero dati hindi naman ito ganito. hinidi kya na nka affect ung rooting sa phone...

nakaswitch off na po yung cellphone ko (SAMSUNG GT-S5300)
once na na click ko na yung "volume up + home + power" eh nag turn on siya ayun po ba yung "RECOVERY MODE" ?

walang kinalaman si root jan, nkkpgvoid lng ng warranty ang rooting, bka dmi mong files kya nglalag na.

mga sir. na root kona ata phone ko.. pano po malalaman kung rooted na sya? superuser lang nalagay na apps.. walang nagbago po.. help naman jan?

maigi po kung basahin natin yung 1st page nitong thread. anyways. nung niroot ko yung phone ko napansin ko na mas bumulis tlga sya.
pwede kna din magchange ng font, do customized theming, and etc.

kapag may nakita ka ng superuser meaning rooted na po sya.

you may now use root only apps available in the market. and everytime you will run an app that needs a superuser permission may magpapop-up po (yung superuser) asking you to grant persmission dun sa launched app. Ganyan tlga sa linux for security purposes. unlike sa windows.

hindi po. sakin naman nung nagroroot ako hindi na ako nagback up eh.
u just have to follow the steps very carefully.

TS, pwde narin ba yung Droidvpn dito at may tun.ko narin po ba ito? Yung paraan po kc ng pagroot ay parang sa Galaxy Y lang diba TS, kya naisip ko lang kung pwde narin po ba yung Droidvpn dito.. salamat po...

bka naman po pinasok nyo sa folder, wag nyo po sya ilalagay sa kahit anong folder, sa sd card lang po mismo... pki double check nyo nalang po kung saan nyo nailagay yung update.zip and follow carefully yung steps sa first page.

sir kapag rooting na fon pwede na om, ano ba bagay na om handler sa gt s5300, ito lang ata ang cp ko na di ko magawan ng net ayaw mag install, ginawa ko naman na lahat gaya ng mga nailagay ko sa ibang cp ko pero dito ayaw di pwede. Wala pa default sa apn internet mms at internet tas mms lang, pano ba sir. .

Sir Help naman po. ung samsung galaxy pocket ko po kc is from smart kaya smart lock po. gus2 ko po sana i openline kc globe user aq ehh. alm neu po ba kung papaano?

BTW rooted na po galaxy pocket s5300 ko. niroot ko po may super user app na nalabas. pero hnd nkaka basa ng globe/TM sim.
