In that case, the problem is not the Wi-fi Assistant. There must be something else that is causing the problem.

oo nga sir eh.. kya eto magastos ako mag net lagi kz naka supersurf s globe.. sir about dun sa kernel 47.. overclock b cia? kz nung aply ko patch ni karam tska kernel 47 naging 750 ung speed nung fon pero hnd pa nakaactivate ung overclocking sa qcfreq..

Remote desktop app on the PC side, or on the N900 side?

If you're asking for a remote desktop app on the N900 side, there are at least a couple that you can find there. Whenever you have the App Manager open, select or tap "All" instead of selecting a specific category. And then using your N900's physical keyboard, you can actually do a search by simply typing directly.

Try searching for "VNC". I'm sure there will be some apps that will show up. There's xvnc11 and VNCviewer (I forgot the correct name). Basta I'm sure meron niyan, kasi I use VNC/remote desktop whenever I create video tutorials for the N900 eh.

marami VNC-based sa repos pero yun sanang hindi VNC-based ang gusto ko. kailangan pa kasi ng VNC client sa PC na ire-remote mo pag ganon eh. unlike yung default remote desktop (mstsc.exe) sa windows na pde mo gamitin sa kahit anong pc, need mo lang hostname or IP nung PC, then the appropriate account pasok na. thanks sir topet! one of these days i'll try reflashing.. para ma-reset yung OS ko.. para matanggal din yung lumang files nung previous owner nitong N900 ko.



BTW, what do i need if i want to start developing SW for the N900?

For developing software, you might want to do a quick Internet search on "Qt" as well as the "Maemo SDK". You can actually download the latest "Maemo SDK" from the Nokia website or the official community site of the Maemo Operating System (www.maemo.org).

Hi Friend,

Are you asking if Kernel 47 is automatically overclocked? Or are you asking if Kernel 47 allows you to overclock?

QCfreq is just a GUI-based app (GUI = Graphical User Interface, para hindi ka na gagamit ng Terminal) to make it easy to change settings for overclocking. But if you know how to use the Terminal you really don't need a GUI app to change settings on the N900. Which is probably why you saw na nakakapag-overclock ang N900 kahit wala namang naka-install na QCFreq.

hindi overclocked yung KP47. Inapply mo yung battery patch ni karam no? yung patch nya hindi rin overclocked kaso yung "profile" na gamit nya oo. Tama ka, 750 nga yung max speed.
kung ayaw mong ma-overclock yung phone mo ang gamitin mo lang eh yung default. eto yung instructions ni karam:

yep salamat.. oo nga ung profile ni karam ang naka overclock.. isa n lng prob ko which is hnd talaga ko maka connect sa smart intenet ng piso lng load pero pag unli or 10 load ko nag coconect naman.. hays..

perfect. ok na sir. i have rdesktop and telnet! pde ko na access routers, switches and PBX namin through wifi.. hindi ko na kailangan maghanap pa ng desktop.

Nangyayari sakin yan in rare cases. Pero natry mo na bang....
*Restart the phone
*Switch to 3G connection

Usually nangyayari yan pag nagamit ka ng Magic IP na hindi naganda. try mo idisable yung proxy settings mo sa setting > internet connection

Technically speaking. Hindi siya mag power on nang walang support ng charger. Opinion ko lang pero baka hardware issue na yan o kaya problem sa battery. Ang boot up kasi malakas din kumain ng battery e.

pagkapower off ng phone mo (white led) hindi na siya nagboboot?kailangan pang iconnect yung charger?hindi ba low battery?naglolong press kaba ng power button?

If you happen to have an extra battery (very common ang battery model na ginagamit ng N900, same battery model being used by Nokia 5800 XpressMusic), mas maganda if you can test using another battery so that you can deduce kung battery problem lang siya. Only then will you go for a re-flash.
