Try mo muna patignan sa nokia care mas mabuting alam mo kung may magagawa sila. My kamahalan man at least may assurance na safe ang device mo. Mahirap kasu ipamigay lang yan sa kung sino2x e. G'luck.

Friend, isang tingin pa lang sa message alam na ng mga regular users dito na may nalimutan kang step sa installation procedure. :)

You will get that message because you need to be root. To be root, the command to type is:

sudo gainroot

Like what vetsin said, you need to install an app called "rootsh". On my end I also installed "sudser" (this is optional). The command "sudo gainroot" is the very first step in the tutorial. :) Like what Garcel said, the installation procedure works, but you have to read slooowwwlly and carefulllyy. Typical problems yan ng mga nag-iinstall, kahit yung mga taga-ibang bansa ganyan din...dami ko nang natulungan sa talk.maemo.org and kamot-ulo na lang sila dahil nga na-realize nila na user error ang sanhi ng mga problem nila. :) Siguro masyadong excited, hindi na binabasa yung steps nang mabuti at dahan-dahan. Tama rin si Garcel, we have video tutorials...you can download them from YouTube (use tools/apps like Internet Download Manager if you're using a PC) if your Internet connection is not fast enough for live streaming.

Tip ko sa iyo, read one step, as in one step lang at a time. And then do it on the N900. Do not read the next step unless sure ka na nagawa mo yung current step na sinusundan mo. When following video tutorials naman, puwedeng-puwede mo namang i-pause yung video for each step. :)

I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled Nitdroid a lot of times already, and the installation procedure in Page 1 is still the same and it works. :)

yun nalang siguro gawin ko.sa nokia care center ko nalang dadalhin unit ko.sana di umabot ng 5k.hehehe.
 
Sir may prob po ako sa paginstall ng CSSU.
Andun na po ako sa PART na may "UPDATE" kaso po pag dating ko dun ,after preparing for installation di ko na po maicontinue. eto po ang lumalabas "to update need to connect to pc suite" tapos
"create backup" lng po ang option walang continue.
kht iconnect ko po sa pc suite wala parin,ganun parin :(

Pano po kaya to?

Sir saang part po ng tutorial nyo makikita yung list of repositories and how to enable them?

Next is, I tried your instruction sa XTerminal pero pag type ko plng po ng sudo apt-get update, "password:" po ang lumalabas?

Guys, who are Sun users here with their n900? can you make the 0.facebook.com work? or is this a limitation with the n900's browser?

for some reason i can't get it to work...

try mo po icheck kung http.globe.com.ph ung sa settings ng myglobeINET mo. plitan mo ung http ng www. try mo sir.

tas check mo lng po ung mga config mo.. ung mga folders.
 
help po. ano format sa N900 natin at gagamitin na application na pang convert movie po.. para po maging full screen po..

salamat po wait po ako..

ako po eh sun user pero di ko pa nasubukang mag-0.fb sa n900. palagay ko kelangan nating mag-edit ng gprs/wap connection... wait lang, try ko. switch muna ng sim. Ü

yes, globe gamit ko, sinubukan ko na rin palitan to www.
pwede ba ako makopya ng config files na gamit mo sa raptor?

eto po ang steps to enable Free Facebook Browsing sa SUN through 0.facebook.com:
1. Download fAPN and Opera Mobile from App Manager (hindi po gumagana sa default browser natin eh).
2. In fAPN, click "Add new APN". Name it "Sun WAP GPRS". Close the application.
3. Go to Settings then Internet Connections. Click "Connections" and look for the the APN we just made. Click Edit.
4. Upon opening we'll see the connection name and type. We already named it "Sun WAP GPRS" so just click "Next".
5. Under Access point name type "wap". Click Next.
6. Click Advanced. Tick the box next to "Use proxy:"
7. For both the HTTP and HTTPS PROXY, type: 202.138.159.78 (pero baka yung HTTPS lang talaga kelangan pero no harm done naman kung maniniguro tayo. :)).
8. Under "Port number:", type: 8080. Click "Save".
9. Close settings, click save where appropriate.
10. Launch Opera Mobile, type 0.facebook.com. When asked which connection to use, choose the one we made. Done! :) Enjoy!

sensya na di ko makokonfirm sa case mo eh. lumang nitdroid installation kasi yung akin, di na ko nagrepartition. nabasa mo na ba yung wiki sa Nitdroid installation? ang pagkakatanda ko kasi eh option lang yang pagrepartition, yan yung mas mahirap na Nitdroid installation procedure (requires a brain, ika nga) hehe
yung isang procedure (yung mas madali) eh yun yung nasa tutorial ni sir topet.

Two steps na lang pala Nitdroid ngayon eh. Method 1 lang sundin mo.
Pero bago ka nga magNitdroid iflash mo muna using custom EMMC para hindi ka mabitin sa memory for apps. my 5GB or 8GB variant yung custom. kung palagay mo eh pupunuin mo ng apps phone mo, dun ka na sa 8GB. ako naka-5GB lang pero ok naman na ko dun. :)

hindi ako masyadong nanonood ng vids sa phone natin eh pero kapag nagcoconvert ako ang gamit ko eh "Any Video Converter". Eto yung settings ko:
video codec:xvid,
frame size:800x480,
bitrate:768
framerate:24,
audio codec: mp3,
audio bitrate: 128

yung iba hindi ko na ginalaw. try mo na lang.

Based on my experience. Magfull screen lang ang isang video kung maganda ang original format ng video. Ex. Inupload ito ng 720p or 1080p tapos dinownload mo dun lang siya magfull screen.

Ang raptor mahirap talaga magconnect since it is a free based VPN. mabilis man yan may catch pa rin. At isa pa isipin mo free nga diba kaya "Marami' gumagamit. :)
