Once the N900 is flashed, it will be as if the device is brand-new. There is no particular order to follow when trying out the tutorials in Page 1.

Additional Info: You are not required to do all the tutorials in Page 1. The tutorials in Page 1 are merely a collection of tutorials, but not all of them are required. You are free to install only the things you need.

The 5GB or 8GB partitions are flashed to the N900...hence it means you just use the same exact tutorial for flashing the N900 on Page 1,but you just replace the filename of the eMMC to the filename of the customized eMMC that you have downloaded.

Just to check: the keyboard should be open before turning on the power button. Is that what you did? Did you see a white screen that shows you some options on whether to boot NITDroid or Maemo?

I have tried all NITDroid versions using the tutorials at Page 1 (up to UMay) and haven't encountered any problems at all. Are you following the same exact steps in Page 1 or are you following a "new" or "different" set of instructions? Naisip ko lang kasi beto mentioned in a previous post that he is using an "Autoinstaller" na galing sa iyo. Pansin ko kayong dalawa lang ang may problem sa installation ng NITDroid, so it is possible that whatever you and beto are using, is the one that's causing you problems.

I see. Kaya pala. I have never tried using any "newer" methods of installing NITDroid. Kung ano pa rin yung original na procedure (yung nasa Page 1), yun pa rin ang ginagamit kong instructions. Anyway kina ammyt din naman galing ang lumang instructions. I suggest try using the old instructions muna since they are much reliable.

napagana ko na. eto po ang steps:
1. Download fAPN and Opera Mobile from App Manager (hindi po gumagana sa default browser natin eh).
2. In fAPN, click "Add new APN". Name it "Sun WAP GPRS". Close the application.
3. Go to Settings then Internet Connections. Click "Connections" and look for the the APN we just made. Click Edit.
4. Upon opening we'll see the connection name and type. We already named it "Sun WAP GPRS" so just click "Next".
5. Under Access point name type "wap". Click Next.
6. Click Advanced. Tick the box next to "Use proxy:"
7. For both the HTTP and HTTPS PROXY, type: 202.138.159.78 (pero baka yung HTTPS lang talaga kelangan pero no harm done naman kung maniniguro tayo. ).
8. Under "Port number:", type: 8080. Click "Save".
9. Close settings, click save where appropriate.
10. Launch Opera Mobile, type 0.facebook.com. When asked which connection to use, choose the one we made. Done! Enjoy!

globe nga nakalagay sa N900 ko... malas naman kung kelan ko pa sinubukan mag-vpn. hehe
sa kin nga pala na-open ko naman tong thread natin sa SecurityKiss once tapos di na ulit nakaconnect. sa Raptor naman nabuksan ko pa yung speedtest.net kaso nadisconnect din tapos ayaw na ulit kumonek.

hindi ko lang alam kung location or user-specific ang proxy... pero kung ganun nga ang case check mo na lang kung ano yung proxy mo.
ang ginawa ko kasi chineck ko muna yung settings ng Sun WAP GPRS sa phone ko (nokia E51) tapos kinopya ko lang sa N900. Check mo rin kung na-type mo yung "8080" sa Port No. saka yung address dapat 0.facebook.com, walang "www" or "http" sa simula. bukod dun, la na kong ideya. hehe tinesting ko naman yan sa phone ko bago ko ipost, gumana naman sa kin. nga pala, may load ba yung sun sim mo? hehe hindi ko alam kung gagana yan kapag walang load eh, naka-plan kasi ko.

Ganun din nangyari sa friend ko. Nakaconnect pero no browse pag naDC na hangang TCP CONNECT nalang. Sa mga bagong configs ngayon meron silang ginagamit na flush-dns.bat hindi ko alam kung pano iisingit sa config o compatible ba sa device natin yung command na yun
