Same as with Microsoft Windows.

ping <website/domain>

For example:

ping www.google.com

Kung ayaw mo ng Terminal (command line) method, puwede rin GUI method.

Start->System->Administration->Network Tools

Huh? M'ayos ka*y ang winFF. Yun nga ang gamit ko sa mga video tutorials ko dito sa thread natin eh (the video tutorials for cracking wireless networks).

kamusta na sir topet! namimiss ko na si ubuntu, binenta ko yung netbook ko kasi bibili sana ako ng bago, kaso kinailangan sa pinas yung pera eh kaya ipon ulit . merong issue ang company na lappy sa akin kaso diko mainstall ang ubuntu kahit WUBI method lang sana. sir topet bakit kaya di gumagana ang ubuntu pag may Autocad na naka-install sa Windows? pero nung sinubukan kong tanggalin yung AutoCad ok naman ang installation thru WUBI. anong kayang problema nito sir topet?

sa mga nakaGLOBO dyan using ubuntu..marami kasi nakakaranas ng disconnection.eto medyo stable na settings sa network manager if your using magic ip...

3.PPP setting:PAP,CHAP
4.DNS (google DNS) 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4

yan po settings ko dito sa batangas which is hard to find a signal.
napaka unstable po dito ng signal ni globo.

one thing na di ko mapagana eh ung VPN sa smart using ubuntu.lagi akong timeout..any suggestion sir? para sa sister kong makulit..thanks and hope na makatulong sa iba..bless u all Linux User and windows too..

You mean SmartBro na USB Modem? Please check Page 1 of this thread...all tutorials are linked there...

Step 1: set up your USB Modem for Smart: please check Item #7 under the "Internet" section. SmartBro din kasi ang USB Modem ko when I was still using prepaid (naka-DSL na kasi ako).
Step 2: ensure that you have at least PHP 1.00 load (not PHP 0.00)
Step 3: configure your VPN: check out Items #9, 10, and 11 under the "Internet" section. Also, you may use the "Search This Thread" function and type "VPN" or "FBT" or "UBT".

Yeah I have the same problem too and read the news from other threads. We can either move to Smart or try other FBT methods like roxy IP methods instead.
