Good idea, pero meron naman na po nito sa Wiki Page ng Ubuntu. I think this will be a better resource. Mas makakatulong din tayo kung i-add natin ang mga wireless card natin na tested na gumagana, dun sa Wiki Page na yun.

Applicable po yan. Remember, BackTrack (now called Kali Linux) is actually Ubuntu-based. Hindi lang ako naga-update ng First Page as long as walang nagbago sa steps. The only time na nire-revise ko ang mga tutorials ko is kung nag-iba na ang mga procedures.

Are you trying to crack a wireless network? Kung yun lang ang balak ninyong gawin, you don't need MDK3. Iba po ang gamit nun.

I don't use GUI tools for such an activity, puro command line (Terminal) lang ang gamit ko, kasi hindi ko makita kung ano ang nangyayari "under-the-hood" pag GUI-based apps ang ginagamit.

Are you trying to crack a wireless network? Kung yun lang ang balak ninyong gawin, you don't need MDK3. Iba po ang gamit nun.

I don't use GUI tools for such an activity, puro command line (Terminal) lang ang gamit ko, kasi hindi ko makita kung ano ang nangyayari "under-the-hood" pag GUI-based apps ang ginagamit.

para sa akin useless din gumamit ng antivirus sa linux based O.S kasi

di naman siya nahihit ng virus.. 48 known virus lang meron sa linux

based at lahat yun din naman nakakasira ng system at pwede delete

ng manually... newbie ako sa UBUNTU at linux based but di ako

nagamit ng antivirus, yung mga veterans dyan correct nyo na lang

kung mali ako..

Medyo di ko na-gets sir. Kung tama ang intindi ko sa post ninyo, ang tinutukoy ninyo is regarding NVIDIA to be more "compatible" with Linux by offering open-source drivers, tama po ba? Okay lang. Actually yung proprietary drivers nila eh okay lang naman din. I used to have an NVIDIA card and I use the proprietary drivers of NVIDIA and no problems so far.

Linux is virtually virus-free, pero yes it's possible na tamaan ng virus pero kung mangyari man yun sobrang hindi ka na careful. At the end of the day, the "strength" of security is with the user. Ika nga sa "Murphy's Law", there is no such thing as "bullet-proof".

If you plan to use Linux for general purposes, you will not need BackTrack. Mag-regular Linux Distributions lang kayo like Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc. Ang BackTrack po ay "special use" Linux OS po, hindi pang general use.

Pero to answer your question: kung original/genuine po ang MS Windows ninyo, it means may Product Key kayo so hindi dapat ganyan ang nangyayari (or kung ni-reinstall ninyo ang MS Windows ninyo, you can re-enter the Product Key).

Kung pirated po yan, then that explains kung bakit ganun ang nakikita ninyo. You can visit the other threads here in Symbianize na patungkol sa MS Windows for details.

Basically nag-crash ang mac changer. I noticed you are using Ubuntu 64-bit. I never use 64-bit, even if my rig/system has 4GB of RAM. Sa MS Windows lang ako gumagamit ng 64-bit. Sa Linux kasi, kahit pa 32GB ang RAM mo, kayang basahin lahat yan kahit 32-bit na Linux ang ni-install, kasi ang kernel na gamit ng Linux ay PAE Kernel (PAE = Physical Address Extension), so hindi siya limited kahit 32-bit ang i-install.

Is there a specific reason po ba kung bakit 64-bit ang ni-install ninyo?

Also:

1. Laptop po ba ito or desktop?
2. Specs?
3. Internal (built-in) ang wireless receiver? External (USB)? Or PCI slot?
4. Brand/model ng wireless receiver (if external)?
5. BackTrack or Ubuntu?
4. Direct/Full install, or naka-virtualized install (i.e. VirtualBox, VMWare)?
5. May I know why you are using macchanger? Ano po ba ang ginagawa ninyo?
6. If you are cracking your own router, you don't need a mac changer. Also you will probably only need that if your target router enabled MAC Filtering (hence, you will need to "spoof" a "known" MAC Address na allowed ng target router hence gagamit ng macchanger).

mag tatanong lang sana ako dito since linux related ito na forums kung saan ba pwede makaka bili ng network card (pang internet sa laptop) na compatible sa aircrack???

kasi yung listahan sa website sa aircrack wala dito sa Pilipinas

baka rin po may alam kayo kung san pwede maka bili...
