makikitambay dito sa thread! kakainstall ko lang ng Ubuntu 15. Hopefully madaming makuhang knowledge dito. Up ko lang tong thread. Ask ko lang mga sir! possible ba na maopen ko ung mga files ko sa windows 8 gamit itong ubuntu OS? TIA sa sasagot
Open=Mapatakbo o Open=Makita?
Kung mapatakbo - merong "WINE" pero hindi lahat ng applications gagana,
Kung makita - walang problema kahit anong format pa ng partition.
uhmm... open para makita sir! kasi naka dual boot ako ubuntu x win8 kaso problema ko pag naka linux ako gusto ko makita yung mga files ko sa win8. tapos isa pa sir possible ba na maayos yung dual boot? everytime na mamimili ako ng OS need ko pa pumasok sa setup yung ipipress ang F2 then iseselect ko kung UEFI o Legacy boot eh
"Makita Files"
- Click mo dash tapos type mo "disks:"
- Sa left side click target hdd/ssd.
- Sa right side click mo yung partition na gusto mo i-mount.
- Click yung icon sa baba na parang "play" button para ma-mount.
- Check mo na sa Nautilus (File Explorer) yung partition na gusto mo makita.
***Kung ayaw ma mount***
- Open Terminal
- Type "sudo ntfsfix /dev/XY" without quotes.
where XY is the partition
e.g sda2 or sdb1

"Dual Boot"
Dito medyo hindi kita matutulungan dahil medyo matagal na yung last dual boot ko. Pero parang alam ko yung gusto mo mangyari. Gusto mo yung direkta na kagad sa OS diba? Tapos pindot na lang sa keyboard during boot if ever na gusto mo mamili ng OS?
Try mo research about sa "GRUB". Google mo din yung "GRUB TIMEOUT".

Patulong naman, nag install ako ng LINUX MINT tapos hindi makasagap ng wifi. Paano kaya mafix yun?
