we are always talking
about anything
never reaching something
afraid 'twas for nothing...

we never talked
but then you spoke
that you loved someone
afraid 'twas now gone...

we are now talking
about everything
would we have something?
or just strangers passing...

could we just say things
utter words we mean
rather than assuming
each others meaning...
